Tyson fury had a layoff of about 2 and a half years. Maidana hasn't fought since September of 2014. Can he still be effective at 35 years old after a 4 and a half year absence? Won't be easy!

Obviously, not an uncommon move from fighters, and there's at least a reasonable chance he's returning for financials more than other reasons. But it still doesn't take away from the fact he would beat most of the top WWs right now. And I have no issues with watching him again in the ring. Easily one of my favorites of the past 15 years.

Didn't Maidana say, at some point, that he didn't like the sport actually, and that he fights only for the money?...

            Later edit: "say"...

What are you talking about? He retired off two back to back losses. You're acting as if he retired as champion.

I’m down for a Maidana Comeback

Don’t know how successful it’ll be but f.uck it hes the man

That video though is f.uckin awesome, him just chilling in a bubble bath rocking a big gold chain like no big deal and that’s how your supposed to announce you’re coming back to the sport

As long as Weeks refs his fights, he will do OK. I'd put him in with Jeff Horn - no holds barred....6 oz. horse hair gloves.
