I'm saying RAMIREZ didn't seem anxious for that fight. Regis got a better offer from the WBSS & I bet Ramirez did to but being with Arum his hands were tied so idk if he didn't wanna be in the WBSS for real or if he just had to act like he didn't cuz Bob wouldn't okay it.
And yea I'd agree with you Hooker is probably much more likely then Bud. Although I tend to doubt its a good bet to happen anytime this year but will see I guess.Comment

I don't even buy that Loma vs Manny at 140 was legit on the table. I think it was standard Arum bs where he links his still promising guy trying to move up in legacy &/or popularity to a legend of boxing to try to enhance his name via the media. This is a common Bob tactic & something he did with Manny numerous numerous times before Manny reached his ceiling.
Loma was also at 130 still iirc when this stuff was being kicked around so it was a much bigger jump for Loma to make too which I doubt he was looking foward to doing at the time if there had even been a real fight on the table.
I highly doubt Manny ever fights at 140 again.
And I'm not saying its a definite Loma does move up, but if he does it'd be good for Ramirez to be at 140 still if he did cuz he'd be the #1 guy Loma fights or he'd be the guy Loma fights in a unification if he captured another belt first.Last edited by Eff Pandas; 02-08-2019, 12:59 PM.Comment

Nah bruh! Loma initially dissed Manny while at 130, but the offer was still there before he fought Pedraza. In fact he told Pacquiao to come to 135!I don't even buy that Loma vs Manny at 140 was legit on the table. The only way for a showdown between Vasyl Lomachenko and Manny Pacquiao to possibly happen is if the Filipino boxing superstar would be willing to go two weight classes down.
Egis Klimas, manager of the Ukrainian champion, is adamant that Lomachenko, the current WBA lightweight champion, will not fight higher than 135 pounds.
“We have no interest [in moving up],” Klimas told Chris Mannix of Yahoo! Sports. “If Pacquiao can make 135, to come in and compete for [Lomachenko’s] WBA title, Vasyl is the champion in that weight class, it’s a possibility.”
Klimas cleared fighting at a catch weight is also out of the equation.
“If we are talking 137 [pounds] and 136, no, there will be no catch weight. If he wants to challenge, he needs to come down. We are not looking to go to 140 pounds. If Manny Pacquiao wants to fight Lomachenko, he can make 135 pounds.”

No.
Keith Thurman has Danny and Shawn. That is it. And he easily could've lost the Porter fight
Shawn has retired Malignaggi and Danny Garcia. His wins over Broner (win gets worse with every passing day) was his last decent win. He beat an old AF Berto, old AF Malignaggi, old AF Alexander...starting to see a pattern?
Spence has zero wins worth discussing. His best win is over a kickboxer and a higly circumstantial win over Kell Brook which is also aging very poorly. Kell moved up 2 weight classes (tried to for real by putting on muscle mass) and then immediately moved back down 2 weight classes. He took his first defeat and his first stoppage loss of his career. He had facial surgery to repair his orbital bone...and the fight was 4-4 after 8 rounds. Then, predictably, the guy jumping weight classes gassed. There's nothing impressive about that - at all.
You are what is wrong with boxing from a fan's perspective.
Please go to MMA or join Trump's spaceforce/ICE..youll be taken care of :]
Happily. Looking up applications now...
Again, stay classy.Comment

I don't care what Egis said. I don't care if you'll "light him up". I don't care if you can pull up a quote of Loma saying 135 is his highest weight. Fighters go against things they previously said ALL THE TIME.Nah bruh! Loma initially dissed Manny while at 130, but the offer was still there before he fought Pedraza. The superior move as I see it for Team Ramirez is to hang back a bit for all the potential big fights he can get at 140 which would also potentially include a Loma moving to 140 for another belt to add to his legacy + it puts a couple years on Bud & gives Ramirez a couple years of experience that'll likely put him in a better position to give Bud a challenge vs going up to 147 to fight a peak Bud still.Comment

Ramirez is old news after Prograis touches him! The only person at 140, that I want to see test Crawford, is Moe Hooker! At 5'11" I think he should exercise his WBO privilege, and go get that bag!I don't care what Egis said. I don't care if you'll "light him up". When you get a chance, check out Jr. WW, Subriel Matias! Nice prospect! ONE!Comment

I think so to, or Josh Taylor, but if you're Ramirez or on Team Ramirez thats probably not what you are thinking & sticking around for Loma, if he moves up, is the superior move to rushing up to fight Bud.
Seeing people mention him in the last couple weeks so yea I will. Honestly haven't even heard of this guy til a couple weeks ago & I believe he's got a dozen fights already so I'm super late on him already if he's been a prospect. When you get a chance, check out Jr. WW, Subriel Matias!
