He weighed around those weights how many years ago? It's no surprise he doesn't give his fight night weights anymore.

        What's your point?

And why would he have to disclose his fight night weight when its not required?

Many fighters weigh about the same through the years, whether they move up in weight or not. Pacquiao one example, Golovkin another.

I think you're trying to find the lamest reasons to hate on a terrific fighter.

He must have had some fat on him to be able to drop down.
He is doing 365 so you can't say it's peds.

That's not how draining works, and don't confuse water weight with general muscle mass. You might as well ask how UFC fighters could drop 25-30lbs of water and be fully replenished on fight night, to then stars being popped dirty and USADA making a cooperative effort to help UFC - MMA.

Canelo has never been overweight. He's a dedicated fighter and gym rat. Canelo at 154-155 walked around 180lbs tops. Ask yourself, how is that Crawford and Spence walk around this weight too but fight at 147. Fans don't know how to calculate camps and target weight goals.

When Canelo fought at 154-155 he could drop 13-20lbs of WATER! When Canelo fought at 160 or 164 in 2017, all it means is he doesn't have to drop less water. What is the difference in Canelo's build from Cotto and Chavez Jr? It's basically the same from the eye test.

Still, Canelo weighing in at 160-168 from walk around weights of 185lbs means he has to hit 170-175lbs normal mass the weeks leading to the fight. Then, respectively, Canelo has to DRAIN 10-7lbs of water from 28 year old body to fight at 160-168.

Look at Crawford fighting at 135, his head, like Pacquiao, is enormous compared to the ratio of body fat to his body. Look at Crawford's build against Benavidez. TC's body looks better at Welterweight, and not awkward at 135. Crawford is older than Canelo and same age as the other known 147 welters that have bene there for a while.

Again, Crawford and Spence walk around 175-185lbs but fight at 147 and look tip top just like Canelo.

            Let's not get it twisted.

Now take a guy like BJS. How is it that he walks around 200lbs+ out of fights and makes 160 the month going in to fight? You do realize he was caught recently with Oxilofrine. Basically designer ****tail dieretics to make weight for a division where he's not grinding hard to make weight like other fighters always in top form. That's cheating.

Good for him unlike Mayweather who held onto two 154 pound world title belts for years without ever defending them. Callum Smith is the real full champion of that particular 168 pound world title.

Where are you getting these walking around weights from? Have any of these boxers actually said they walk around at the weights you stated? Has anybody caught them walking around and weight them? Are you just making wild guesses at what weight they walk around at? I question your numbers. Spence is not tall or heavily built and I doubt he walks around 28 pounds over his fighting weight at 175. I have seen him when he is not in training and he still looks lean. He only weighed 156 on fight night for his last fight as announce just before the fight started. He probably walks around at about 164 tops. Crawford looks fat between fights so maybe he does walk around at 175. I have seen Canelo with his shirt off between fights and I think he walks around at 175 or less. I have never see a photo of Saunders where he looked to be 200 plus pounds.

Canelo is a true warrior and gentleman, instead of holding the belt hostage he decided to let some other fighter have a chance at it. Much respect. Red Head pride, Mexican pride, Christmas tree lighting up pride. WAR CANELO!
