    Yea

Now that the other sanctioning bodies can see they were lying, I predict they are all gonna start bringing out similar alternative versions of a world title belt for their sanctioning body. Why wouldn't they? It's extra money. Expect an ibf, WBC and wbo 'regular' title too. It'll be named something different but yea it's coming. Soon we will have 8 world champions in each weight class and promoters of these fighters will be referring to these belts as world titles with no asterisk attached to it. You heard it here first

If Canelo keeps going up and down between 160 and 168, there's definitely something fishy going on.

So if you think Ryder fighting for the belt is pathetic then so was canelo doing so . You both agree?
Lenuix shouldn’t be in a 168ln title fight Jas.

Of course you wouldn't diss canelo

            Lol

Same guy who said he didn't wanna fight Lara because of the wba title now fights for it in a bid to fool casuals to sell a fight. Guy has no class at all. Ped use that's gone on for God knows how long.

BoxingScene.com reported earlier that Golden Boy Promotions is negotiation a July 12th pay-per-view fight between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (43-1-1, 31KOs) and WBA 'regular' junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara (19-1-2, 12KOs). Lara is already booked to defend his title against Ishe Smith on May 2nd at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. To finalize a deal to face Canelo, Lara would have to withdraw from the Smith defense.

"The Mexican star is not interested in paying the sanctioning fee, pointing at the fact that Floyd Mayweather Jr. still holds the recognized WBA title at 154-pounds. Mayweather decisioned Canelo last September. "

People need to stop paying WBA sanctioning fees for that joke belt and boxing reporters need to stop acknowledging that joke belt

I really, really like that Ryder/Lemieux fight though, think that has war written all over it. If Lemieux wins you could very well see Canelo come back to try to take it again at some point and if Ryder wins I think you could see Fielding/Ryder 2 for that belt
