Tell me again who Ortiz has even beaten of any note?
He better than AJ's last 3 opponents. Tell me who Miller or Wyte beat?? Ortiz did pretty good against Wilder

This proves that AJ is a sissy.

He needs a competitive fight to win back the respect of the general boxing public, not just UK diehards, in order to do that, we need to see him fight someone that has a chance of winning.

Miller can't break wind with his power punches, and is tailor-made for AJ

He already knocked Whyte the fu%k out.

Ortiz is BY FAR the most competitive fight aside from Wilder or Fury, Ortiz has power, can put his punches together, and is aggressive.

He would be the most dangerous fight of AJ's career, even at this age.

Absolutely no. This guy honestly his tank was absolutely spent after six rounds against Wilder the one time he’s stepped up to world level, his stamina and conditioning is appalling. I’ve no desire to see him again at the top level.

AJ is apparently fighting Miller next and you believe Ortiz would give him more credibility, I don’t understand why, outside of Wilder and Fury who are in negotiations who else is there other than the like of Miller, Whyte has already lost to AJ as Ortiz has to Wilder, it’s about the only fight with an undefeated opponent available, taking into account Pulev has already lost at world level too.

This post is nonsense. AJ just fought Povetkin for a start and before that he fought a unification against another undefeated opponent like Miller will be, now I don’t even care for AJ vs Miller but I’d damn sure prefer to see it over an Ortiz fight, wtf has Ortiz done to be considered for another title fight ? Sure Ortiz is dangerous but he has absolutely the worst conditioning I’ve seen from any fighter at world level amongst the heavyweights in a long while.

You're telling us that Ortiz at the age of 40 (as he will be in March) with medical issues, is more dangerous to AJ than Klitschko at 41 on AJ's 20th fight? Sort it out.

Plus there's no evidence that he's any better than Povetkin who is an actually proven and an aggressive fighter not a known counter puncher like Ortiz who has known power in both hands as well. Both the same age (Ortiz is six months older) Povetkin is a inch shorter and a bit lighter. Ortiz would gas like he did against Wilder and Povetkin did against AJ and the fight end the same they're just too old to match up against the top guys.

Miller should be the alternative, he has done nothing to deserve a shot. At least we know Ortiz is a threat.

If Wilder couldn't knock him out cold, Joshua certainly wont. When was the last time you saw Joshua knock anyone cold?

if they are to consider, Eddie and Joshua better sign a waiver.. og with his hbp could pass out anytime or better yet have some paramedics ringside..even with his shįt stamina he took wilder 10 rounds and gave him hell
