I don't know, tbh. I don't pay much attention to purse bids unless they are for major fights and I see them being discussed on line.
All the recent purse bids I remember Hearn taking part in, his guy was a challenger and not a big name, like the one today between Galahad and Warrington, which I heard him saying he wasn't expecting to win.
The exception to that was Whyte/Pulev, but that was a strange one, because Hearn beat Pulev's promoter, which was all he thought he needed to do. But a third outfit, who nobody expected to be taking part, came in with a huge bid and beat both of them.
