Wilder has said he doesn't want the fight and Finkel has ignored 7 emails from Hearn. There's no debate anymore. Wilder doesn;t want the fight.

    The rematch offer was 50/50.

As for "Would be first time in history the new champion is the B side" this just exposes that you know nothing.

Others have covered it, but the rematch was negotiated to 50/50.

Right now, Joshua is by far the A side in that fight. When it's a voluntary, he gets to name his terms. And yes, that includes any fight in the contract (ie the rematch).

I'm not accusing either of ducking. It's just not a fight that will happen as a voluntary. Whyte will wait for a mandatory.

Basically it's repetitive trash from every side, and will remain the same on every thread about this subject until there's an announcement regarding the fight happening.
This isn't a knock on anyone posting on this thread, I've done my share in the past but reality has kicked in...this subject has for a while now been extremely tiresome.
Have a good day and enjoy more interesting content elsewhere on the world wide web, it caters to every taste and mood, something for everyone.
So, are you saying it's more entertaining looking at articles about cowboys who can't yodel? LOL

Not familiar with this writer, but not buying at all his assertion "self-imposed wilderness" for Joshua. Yes, THE biggest $$ fight for at least the first half of the year will be Fury/Wilder II.... but the money/popularity from the Joshua/Miller NYC fight certainly won't be anything to sneeze at. And it will be a great intro for Joshua into the U.S. market.

We hardcore boxing fans have learned (at least most of us have) to have patience on getting our top favorite matchups in the ring together. I know I don't mind waiting... just so it doesn't end up like another Pac/Floydie debacle, caused by the head-ducker himself. I'm expecting a great Fury/Wilder II where I will expect to see Fury win AGAIN... except this time they finally give him the W he deserved in the first fight... AND I expect to see a great Joshua/Miller fight.

Wilder is the worst HW in recent history. And an unmitigated azzhole full of delusions of grandeur. And Wilder fans are the dumbest mofos on earth. Behind AB fans.

Correcting people with facts and logic. Why do you idiots have a problem with that? Why do you want lies to be spread. Do you want to impregnate Wilder or something?

How can you write this article without addressing that Hearn has made 60/40 offers to both Fury and Wilder? Why is AJ the only A-side in history it appears that is supposed to pay his rivals an equal 50/50 split before they are worth it?

He also fails to mention that Hearn has said the winner of Fury v Wilder 2 is worth 50/50. So he’s being fairly realistic that once the opponent has grown their own brand to AJ levels then they deserve to be paid accordingly.

Maybe an anti-AJ article just sells better these days? Shame that we live in a world of haters!

The rematch clause was for 50:50 as confirmed by Whyte and Hearn in an interview together yesterday. There may have been a lower one earlier but 100% the last offer was 50:50 on the rematch.

Now 50;50 is a B side low ball offer ... its a voluntary shot at thre belts !

The only thing I can see wrong with this article is the punctuation. I'm assuming either Tris or his editor were in a hurry and didn't have time to proof read it properly.

The points made are all valid though. The Fury/Wilder draw, and Whyte unexpectedly trying to capitalise on it by turning down offers he would have jumped at under other circumstances, has scuppered Hearn and AJ's plans and left them open to accusations of ducking and low balling from rivals on both sides of the pond.
