margarito was more badly beaten against pac than against cotto.

he had to get surgery after the pac fight.

Margarito was damaged goods, but Cotto still done a job on him. Margarito still passed all relevant health checks in order to compete. Regardless of whether Margarito was shot, Cotto still exacted his revenge on him.

Margarito sure could withstand a lot of punishment...That much is true. He also had a great chin and great stamina. But damn, he got the snot beat out of him by Pacquiao, a guy almost half his size!

I'm sure some of you guys saw Margarito's most recent fight...He was getting the p1ss knocked out of him from some absolute bum. The bum hurt Margarito badly a few times and just when the bum was taking out the garbage, the corrupt officials stopped the fight and declared Margarito the winner! Haha, what an absolute sch1tt show. Totally embarrassing for him. Poor Tony is going to be suffering from brain damage and blindness....if he isn't already. Mosley, Pacquiao and Cotto beat the neurons out of his pineapple head. Goodluck Margarito...You're going to need it now....

I liked Margarito. He looked like a Mexican bad guy out of a comic book, fought like a bull, and all anyone ever says to discredit him is "but he's a cheater though." Overall, I appreciate him being apart of the scene.

Lol WHAT?!?! he got caught trying to use them. You're right. As far as we know he wast successful trying to use them in a fight. But had he not get caught he would have used them. Punishable by suspension. If you get caught trying to Rob a store the police just don't let you go. It's "attempted armed robbery" still a crime even though you weren't successful. He was never caught cheating, and you don't just assume because someone was allegedly going to cheat in one fight, that that was the case every fight. The onus is on the accuser.

And he didn't try anything, he didn't even know about them. Point the finger in the right direction at least.

Margarito was a champion, and one of the most dangerous fighters in a division that was at one of the hottest and most top heavy talent wise in history. He deserves way more respect than he gets. Only Pacquiao and Mosley (before he walked away and came back) beat him convincingly.
