did you watch ward fight? wrestling and holding and hitting are illegal. froch would have choice of the officials if they fought in the uk so that would certainly affect wards fighting style. not saying he would lose but it would certainly be harder. he would always lose to a guy like kovalev if he had fair officials but not froch. ward wasnt willing to give up that control because cheating was his safe guard. notice how he didnt do it against a guy like paul smith but against the elite guys he had to. safety blanket for salty ward!
