Carl Froch and Andre Ward Going At It On Twitter!

I saw that exchange today, I found it a bit ironic as I think Ward can come across bitter at times too. As does Froch obviously. Those are 2 big egos.

I remember the build up to Froch/Kessler 2 and reading/seeing interviews from Hunter that were bitter towards the 2 guys. Same with Ward when i saw him doing commentary for the fight. They seemed to resent that it was a fight people looked forward to and enjoyed.

He's said some daft stuff to, like when he said Froch had a bigger fan base because he had no other sport to compete with in his home town, and that Atlantic City wasn't home advantage for him against Froch because flight time from CA was similar to flight time from London.

Froch brings out the worst in Ward. That's why Ward is involving himself in the Froch/Groves tweets to begin with.

But yeah, It's a bit of a cringe exchange from both of them. Their fight was along time ago now.

Ward vs Froch fight was fought clean even Ward had a hurt hand in the bout.

People are still butt hurt. Froch is one of my favorite fighters but he and his nose should shut up

ward is a good guy...and when hes in a certain mood hes really good

heres the problem...once in awhile ward gets in this zone where he feels he doesnt get enough credit..and it rubs certain people the wrong way...ie the type of people who wants to dislike ward and it just gives them a reason...he also called the media out on the hypocrisy about how they gave golovkin a pass for ducking him...he said if they switched positions the media would have lambasted him for it....but golovkin got a pass....and he was right.....but that just drives certain people crazy to have to admit...so they make ward out to be a d1ckhead.....ive seen ward come off kinda with an attitude at times.....he feels he should probably be more appreciated and more well known that he is......but that just is what it is....alot of the times hes a real insightful and honest guy...hes a good guy too

His best win is Carl.froch just right here.
Carl has a good record but dude was a limited fighter.
So maybe ward feels underappreciated because he thinks too much of himself?

He was awarded generously the p4p crown by every media he bashes now . He should not complain that much.

Fan of both guys , Both are great fighters

But you can tell even after all these years every time Wards name is brought up that it still burns Froch knowing that Ward will always be the better fighter and he would never be able beat Ward even on his best day.

There’s a reason Carl or his team never really wanted a rematch because they know.

I definitely agree with Froch that Ward is somewhat afraid to fight in an opponents backyard. I mean just look at his career, almost every fight was in the US apart from like 3 non-significant fights who where on a neutral island in the Caribbean

Froch is right, a uk rematch would have been huge but ward didnt fancy the job. Froch had figured him out towards the end of the first fight.
