Both fighters showed heart and dug deep. Had the fight been stopped it would have been an outrage. Thurman was more gassed than hurt in the 7th, he recovered just fine and won the fight convincingly. The judge who scored it a draw should be shot.

If Lopez would have been more accurate with his punches he could have finished him. He should have gathered himself and trapped Thurman against the ropes finished the job! He had the 7th and first part of the 8th round to close the show he just didn't get it done.

He was hurt enough for a VERY bad stoppage with the way he was reacting to shots and how long they went uncontested but it would have been horrible and a robbery.
We’ve seen stoppages for less.
Josesito just didn’t know how to close there. He could have pitterpattered him against the ropes after one of those punches instead of trying to land a big one and forced a ref stoppage. A better fighter would have closed the show there as Thurman was beyond gone.

Lopez has no integrity. How can you blame the ref when you had a full round to finish the dude. It is not like it was 10s left in the round when you land the money shot. You had plenty of time and went head hunting. The fact that Thurman recovered and won the fight is a testament that being allowed to fight was good judgment on the ref's part. If Thurman hurt you like that he would have blown you out.

Saying the ref should've stopped it is lame. More like Lopez should've done a better job of not letting Thurman off the hook after hurting him.

I love the jawbreaker for wiring victimizer ortiz's **** shut. For that service, he's always my dude. But i was rooting for thurman because i always been a thurman fan. Now for mikey vs spence, i love spence but im going for mikey all the way. Thats my dude for real, smooth as silk, basic and maybe repetitive ok, but u cant do nothing about it because of the boxing brain. Balance, timing, positioning, leverage. Boxing 101. Errol is tremendous but very front foot heavy. I love them both but im rolling with mikey 100%
