But how can you as a former boxer claim someone else is scared . I mean keyboard warriors speak like that not former HW boxers.

Then you telling him what he needs to offer someone else, you are not prior to negotiations, so who are you to tell him what % he needs to offer someone else, and if he doesn’t offer that % it’s him that’s ducking.

I agree with him doe that AJ needs to fight in America.
I agree mate. He talks about negotiations like he's privy to them. For me, he's too obviously one sided in a situation that people were already questioning his views on a good while before the Hearn outburst and his reply.

"With Wilder Fury 2 happening, Eddie is now scrambling for a viable opponent for Joshua. If Joshua handles his business in April, the winner of Wilder Fury 2 should take on Joshua for the undisputed title. If that doesn’t happen, then we know that it’s just about milking the British fans for as much money as possible, instead of bringing the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world back home to them for the second time in their lifetime. Just that simple," Lewis said.

I mean he talks here like it's only AJs responsibility to make a fight. What if we get Fury/Wilder 3? That's AJs fault again is it? He should have given up his full purse to make it happen or he's milking the fans?

Notice how he talks about British fans as 'them'? And the fact he had to get a little dig in about being the first undisputed HW?

Guys an egotistical ******* who has no respect for British boxing scene as it contains fighters who feel no need to crack America like he had to.
Joshua is the fighter with the restrictions on where what network etc. The other two have simply said...money ain right. Details have been out that it hasn't been. Wilder has fought Ortiz and Fury back to back to demonstrate his worth so to speak. You seek the actions towards making or building the fight. There is no need to go after him. Fury came back and fought Wilder, why go after him when he said I will fight Joshua, just not for short money.

3 of the top 5 boxers have claimed they have been offered short money to fight Joshua. That's not something to ignore totally.

Lastly, what's wrong with referring to British fans as them. He is a former boxer and still very much a part of the sport. You are them to him. He doesn't see himself as some British fan.

Just don't see how his possible bias is relevant in this situation.

        • The biggest point of this whole thread : imo is the fact that Joshua needs to get to the Mecca of boxing

For himself , for his family , for the fans and for his legacy.
          If any legacy at all

We all end up contradicting ourselves in some ways whether its applying a certain logic to one boxer but not another, or simply ignoring things from one boxer that we wouldn't ignore for another. It happens. Seems like there is a major effort to disqualify Lewis' opinion rather than simply providing counter points that support an opposing opinion.

People have called you biased. They brought out your old quotes and everything. And you responded as Lewis did. Were you biased then? Are you now?

The fact that you have tried to disqualify Lewis opinion as biased shows that you're biased AF. The fact that you called out Finkel for being a biased promoter in response to someone simply saying that Hearn uses tactics Arum used in the past shows that you are bias AF.

Who gives a s hit who I call out? Am calling out people who call out one side of the argument. And Lewis opinion is is opinion, that doesn’t mean I cannot question is bias words and contradictions. He is crying here because he got called out, when you talk nonsense then you would get called out (Whether you are a fanboy or world champion is irrelevant).

I just brought Hearn up because he's using the exact tricks Arum used to use. I was agreeing with you that these days promoters and networks have fans and it's BS.
Great as long as we understand that they all do the same thing then I have no issues with that.

Crying? He just said "fk Hearn, I said what I said." How is that crying? The problem is you actually put stock in the rubbish Hearn says and weak comments on NSB about the dude being jealous. Called out by who?

And some how you excuse Finkel for offering AJ a deal and then cancelling booked meetings because it's a waste of time even though they made the offer and already agreed the meeting.

I'd have no problem if you critise both but.... Why you do dis?!

                  • The guy has admitted numerous times he doesn't know the full story, he's said they should split the % via the percentage of belts and so on.

Not once has Lewis talked to Hearn or AJ to actually get their story. He just sucks in the narrative from Wilder and co.

Neither camp wanted the undisputed fight and both camps lied thoroughly throughout negotiations.

What fights did he have in "the Mecca of boxing"

USA is an OPTION for Joshua, it's no longer a requirement for any fighter.
