What's Lewis' problem anyway? He started with this bitterness without anyone even asking him. Unbelievable what people have to do to get an opportunity to suck Al's coc.

thats because Hearn is a clown. He a promoter, that is a clowns job, a life made by lying. Although it earns money, sometimes good money so on base level its not an issue.

"I’ve recently heard Eddie Hearn talking about how he doesn’t like what I’ve said in regards to the Wilder negotiations in 2018. In my fighting years, I laced my gloves up in the ring for protection of myself and my opponents. Outside of the ring, there are no gloves. We don’t put pillows on to soften the blow. Eddie needs to put his big boy pants on and understand that criticism and scrutiny are a part of the game. No boxer or promoter is above it. Right or wrong, I’ve had my fair share also. It comes with the territory," Lewis told League of Champions.
"In my career, I created my own path, chose my own destiny, fought for everything I’ve earned, and achieved all I’ve set out for in the sport. In my era, I sought out the best to prove I was the best. So I don’t take it lightly when my hard earned reputation is put in question. I have no problem speaking my mind, which seems to hurt people’s feelings, but my views are not, and cannot, be swayed by a tv commentating contract, favour for a fellow Brit, jealousy of a new crop of talent, or the opinions of paid keyboard warriors.
"I manage my character and everything surrounding Lennox Lewis. (Yep, third person.) There’s no puppet master here. I just call it like I see it, like I always have. For those of you who push this false narrative, I invite you to join me here at my League of Champions Youth Boxing Camp, where, among other things, we teach integrity .... anything else you want me to say, Al?"

Lewis deflected and pretended he didn't get the issue. The issue is not that Eddie or AJ are afraid of criticism. The point Eddie was making was more that Lewis had no reason to be critical of AJ in these negotiations. And I will side with Eddie on this one. The way I see it, Wilder ducked AJ and that $50mil offer was nothing but a smoke screen.
Jeesus, how on earth do you demonstrate the desire to fight when you do not speak to the other side?!?!
Eddie said a number of times, that his attempts to establish contact are left without even acknowledgment, let alone a response. And I'll keep this as a fact at least until this is rebutted by Wilder's side (it wasn't, btw).
Btw, why is Lewis not so critical of Wilder who fought nobodies with 2 exceptions and shows zero interest in the fight? It takes two to tango. But indirectly that singiling out of AJ is a sign of respect and based on Lewis's impression of AJ as being a leader. I guess no need to criticize the Beta (Wilder) when you can whine about Alpha (AJ).

Lewis is just jealous of Joshua. He thought he was the last great British heavyweight and is shocked at the money Joshua is making this early in his career. If you are going to criticise someone at least be factual. You can't accuse AJ of ducking when he has done everything in his power to make the Wilder fight.
