I'm just refuting the statement that he did everything to make the fight. It's obvious a money issue that stalling the negotiations. Should it be 50/50? Not at all. Should it be a flat rate? Definitely not!Just answer me one damn thing.
Why do you think it's acceptable for Fury and Wilder to demand 50/50?
AJ made double what they made combined in their last fights.
Why do you think it's reasonable for AJ to bow to their demands? He already done all the work for them by collecting 4 belts to make this an undisputed fight.Comment

Pretty much this. Just get on with it. Trying to leverage blame on one side is pathetic, especially when you are not prior to negotiations. All these stuff about I “Seek” out the best is irrelevant. Get this fight on and let’s have one man holding the belts.Comment

For Joshua to fight Wilder or Fury, one of Wilder or Fury needs to fight him too. One of them is going to be a third wheel.
It's pretty straight forward.
Is the third wheel necessarily the loser though?
The thing is, once Fury and Wilder fight their main event, there won't be a third wheel anymore. One of them drops away. No title, their unbeaten record gone, excluded from the real main event.
People are acting like Joshua's in that position now. He most definitely isn't. He still has most of the belts, he's number one ranked, he'll make a fortune in his next fight and he'll have the biggest heavyweight fight in decades to negotiate afterwards.
This goes well beyond just the next few months.Comment

Most of these guys are into winning the “Eddie Hearn” battle. I mean when did promoters become more popular on boxing forums? At the end of the day it’s all about the fight. Once Fury/Wilder are done with each other they would have no choice but to see AJ if he still around. For Joshua to fight Wilder or Fury, one of Wilder or Fury needs to fight him too. We want all of them to fight each other not vendetta spilling Lewis with his contradicting comments.Comment

I believe you. People are idiots. Thankfully only thing I use YouTube for is watching old matches. A good half of these new fans have ulterior motives anyways. Ward has always been a talented fighter who I hated since he was dirty. Floyd i was a fan of until he retired to duck rematching Oscar and a hot WW division saying he doesn’t need boxing only to fight a 118 year old kick boxer 15 years laterComment

I think it’s mostly an age thing. Newer fans seem to trust promoters, when the older fans like us look at them the same as most people do lawyers. Most of these guys are into winning the “Eddie Hearn” battle. And maybe some of it is nationality also. The tricks Eddie Hearn is using to trick these new fans are the tricks that Arum used over here 30 years ago. It’s not a new act.Comment

Tell me one promoter that doesn’t “Trick” anyone? I could say you yourself have been “Tricked” by Shelly Finkel. So it depends which side of the coin you side with at the end of the day.I think it’s mostly an age thing. Not sure why promoters are relevant discussion on boxing forums, the questions should be do you want the fight. Fighters should say yes or no like Wilder did with the Joshua fight.Comment
