    • Lewis is a PBC guy these days, it's clear. He doesn't speak without bias IMO.

In my experiences he can get a little bit of a chip on his shoulder when speaking about new British HW's. (I feel that's why Fury has called him out about it in the past).

Guys like Joshua and Fury are more known to the new crop of casual boxing fans than he was/is and i think that irks him a little, especially when he did it all in his career and was 'THE HW' of the sport, yet Joshua is the one selling out Wembley over and over and gets so much love. Stuff like that.

People have brought up Froch and Khan for doing similar things for a long time. They do, it seems it can be a British trait. I'm a fan of all these guys, it doesn't mean I can't see that people can be a little bitter and remind us what they achieved.

Lewis for me, has flip-flopped and even contradicted himself at times. I do feel he has a bug up his arse when it comes to Joshua, which shows when he speaks about him.
I am a big Lewis fan though, i agree with at least some of the stuff he says, and since he's a guy who's done it all in the sport, I don't have a problem with anything he wants to come out and say.

The fact that he contradicts himself tells you he is bias AF, I like Lewis but it’s plain obvious his words aren’t genuine. I definitely agree with him that this fight needs to be made. But how can you as a former boxer claim someone else is scared . I mean keyboard warriors speak like that not former HW boxers.

Then you telling him what he needs to offer someone else, you are not prior to negotiations, so who are you to tell him what % he needs to offer someone else, and if he doesn’t offer that % it’s him that’s ducking.

I agree with him doe that AJ needs to fight in America.

Not sure why promoters are relevant discussion on boxing forums, the questions should be do you want the fight. Fighters should say yes or no like Wilder did with the Joshua fight.
All promoters trick people. that was the point I was trying to make. I wasn't singling anyone out, they're all liars and crooks. It's why I said they were like lawyers.

I just brought Hearn up because he's using the exact tricks Arum used to use. I was agreeing with you that these days promoters and networks have fans and it's BS.

How's Lewis's opinion on the matter any different from the opinions of posters or other former or current boxers. Its like you're saying that because he's a former boxer he has to remain silent on the issue even though it's human nature to form an opinion.

We all end up contradicting ourselves in some ways whether its applying a certain logic to one boxer but not another, or simply ignoring things from one boxer that we wouldn't ignore for another. It happens. Seems like there is a major effort to disqualify Lewis' opinion rather than simply providing counter points that support an opposing opinion.

People have called you biased. They brought out your old quotes and everything. And you responded as Lewis did. Were you biased then? Are you now?

The fact that you have tried to disqualify Lewis opinion as biased shows that you're biased AF. The fact that you called out Finkel for being a biased promoter in response to someone simply saying that Hearn uses tactics Arum used in the past shows that you are bias AF.

Even if he hates Joshua guts and is as jealous of him as a person can get, what makes his opinion on Joshua a bad opinion?

              • Lewis is in denial thinking that he isn't a yes man. That is why he got the commentary position on Fox. He sucks as an announcer.

Because even if he has a legit point, he will not say it about anybody else. Only Joshua. Why does he never tell Fury or Wilder to step up to Joshua, the #1 heavyweight? Why doesn't he criticise them for taking less money to fight for less belts?

"With Wilder Fury 2 happening, Eddie is now scrambling for a viable opponent for Joshua. If Joshua handles his business in April, the winner of Wilder Fury 2 should take on Joshua for the undisputed title. If that doesn’t happen, then we know that it’s just about milking the British fans for as much money as possible, instead of bringing the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world back home to them for the second time in their lifetime. Just that simple," Lewis said.

I mean he talks here like it's only AJs responsibility to make a fight. What if we get Fury/Wilder 3? That's AJs fault again is it? He should have given up his full purse to make it happen or he's milking the fans?

Notice how he talks about British fans as 'them'? And the fact he had to get a little dig in about being the first undisputed HW?

Guys an egotistical ******* who has no respect for British boxing scene as it contains fighters who feel no need to crack America like he had to.

I didn't say it was to be honest. As I said I agree with some of what he's saying. But I do think Lewis has an issue with Joshua, so I don't always take everything he says on the matter at face value. I think he has his biases in the situation.

                    • All this bs is going to evaporate within a year so relax.

                      W and F will fight.
                      AJ will fight the winner.

                      And we will see .
