At $1500-$100? Even if you comped 10% of the seats, 12000 tickets sold at that rate should be over $6m

6M is possible. I said in the 4-6M range. Either way, definitely not around 10M for this fight.

Does this mean that Broner is here to stay? He brings them tons of cash.

I mentioned a few times after the fight but the leading trender on Twitter was Broner worldwide and stateside after the fight, not the guy who thoroughly beat him. Dude still does better numbers on SHO than anyone else minus Wilder. Of course he is here to stay still. Until he completely loses appeal, he will continue headlining cards. And a lot of his fights are entertaining. It is only when he is overwhelmed skill/talent wise that he becomes gun shy to throw. Maidana overwhelmed him in another way and forced him to throw or get KTFO, so Broner chose to fight back. Mikey and Pac just tamed him from the start.

Expect him to return in the summer time on FOX or SHO main event.

HBO realized that their subscribers were much more reliant on their shows like Game of Thrones. So they got out out the business all together, but that's not the same with Showtime.
But Boxing isn’t a big driver of subs on Showtime. The evidence is clear

If it were a big driver, Showtime would be doing 2-3 big boxing shows a month. As it stands their last Non-PPV world title fight was in September!

I think Showtime will be out in the future, HBO’s Boxing year on year quality and volume declined. We’re seeing the same with Showtime.

SHO is fine. They have a show a month. They don't have to do 2-3 a month because FOX is handling that now.
They still do 2 ShoBox cards a month.

Is it just me, but I love the ShoBox cards. Usually pretty entertaining and nice seeing some prospects. Good quality

Of course, Sho Box has always been quality. We get a lot of nice prospect vs prospect type of match ups. Also get to see fighters like Haney and Ennis emerge from the Sho Box series.
