by the time this fight happens the wbc is going to be doing it anyways, so unification or not the re hydration clause will be there.. is really not as bad since fighters will still have like 12 hours to continue putting on weight, so its going to be 170 plus whatever they can add after that... on fight night but can easily be above 175 ....

I don't think its a coincidence that all the judges have off days.I didn't say it was Canelos fault. I just said it's what always seems to happen when Canelo has a big fight. I don't think Canelo would pay judges but I wouldn't put it past Oscar. The dude has already been exposed for doing things that nobody would've thought he'd do, and he gets caught in lie after lie. Good point about paid off judges trying to make the scorecards seem less blatant but.... Then that'd mean that all of these ridiculous scorecards would have to be a coincidence. What are the odds that all of these judges just happen to have off days when it involves Canelo?
You need to remember that judges are human too...
They could be fans of Canelo too. Against mayweather alot of people wanted to see Mayweather take a loss in his career. Is it too farfetched to say maybe some judges wanted to see Floyd take a loss too???
I'm not saying it's not a possibility that someone within the Golden Boy promotions organization didn't pay off a judge....
Nothing surprises me in Boxing anymore. I just don't buy the explanation that Everytime Canelo gets a controversial score card then that automatically means someone paid off a judge the way you're making it seem...Comment

You forgot about the 4-1 card over Amir Khan when Khan was schooling Canelo! Hella jicky scorecards but I'll use my free 30 day trial for this one!vs trout a judge scored it 10 rounds to 2 for canelo. Draw vs mayweather. 9 rounds to 3 vs lara. 11 rounds to 1 vs cotto. 10 rounds to 2 vs ggg. Regardless of who you think won those fights, those are 5 ridiculous scorecards that weren't even close to representing what took place in each fight. I can't think of 1 single fighter that has had so many scorecards that were that far off. So when you mention that I'm complaining about corrupt or bad scoring, that's because it's been the norm. During the Tyson era, we all went into the fights expecting to see a ko. During the Floyd era, we expected to see a 12 round decision win with not much offense. For canelo, we expect to see close fights with bad scorecards in his favor.Comment

ok, I could be wrong but when it happens once.... fine, happens twice.... umm ok, happens 3 times.... you really start to wonder..... by the time it happens a 5th time... It's alot easier to believe something beyond a bad day for a judge is what's going on. Now most likely Canelo vs jacobs should be competitive and will more than likely go 12. I have a hard time envisioning jacobs getting a decision over canelo in Vegas unless he's as dominant as a prime Roy Jones used to be in his day, which isn't likely.I don't think its a coincidence that all the judges have off days.

Let's hope the Canelo-Jacobs fight doesn't end in controversy.
I want a clear winner, even if it's Jacobs.
A loss to Jacob's isn't gonna end Canelo's career and vice versa.
Too many people think a loss is the end to a Fighter's career but that's far from the truth!
Canelo's loss to Mayweather didn't effect his career and neither will a loss to Jacob's.Comment

I doubt they get paid off but the lead promoter pays all their expenses. Usually in a big fight its all first class. So if you want to work and get the perks and the promoter likes you then one hand washes the other. The promoter can't pick the judges but he can object to one or several. The commissions usually give in and pick someone else that's agreeable. So yeah a judge can bought off without receiving cash.I don't think its a coincidence that all the judges have off days.
