Comments Thread For: Canelo-Jacobs: NSAC To Review Venue Request at 1/29 Hearing

Saul Canelo' Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs could know by as soon as month's end whether the most anticipated bout on the current boxing schedule will become a Vegas party. The aforementioned middleweight title unification clash is currently scheduled to take place May 4 at a venue and location to be determined. Alvarez's handlers, Golden Boy Promotions are shopping the bout to various parties around the U.S. but have already placed a hold on the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It was always gonna be Vegas! This fight couldn't be held any other place but Vegas... Too much money to be made in Vegas and Golden Boy promotions aren't about to let any money go uncollected,...

It's also Much easier to pay off judges in Vegas than anywhere else.

I am wondering how well the DAZN app will stream a big fight such as this. I know the canelo vs Rocky fight turned out fine but this is a whole other animal

don't get so sensitive. It's a known fact that in almost every big fight that Canelo has had, there have been not just bad, but horrible scorecards turned in by the judges. All of those bad cards (in no less than 5 different fights) have been in his favor, yet I can't think of 1 bad scorecard that went against Canelo. Can you??

So Jacobs just recently did an interview stating that he hopes the judges are fair... But in the past he would say he'd stop canelo... Wonder why the change of thought now
