Styles make fights, hes always been vulnerable to power punchers. He may lose to cano but hes always gonna cause loma more problems than cano would

          Never that good.

Showed that numerous times he's been stopped badly by average opposition multiple times.

I just watched the fight, Cano looked really big. Im guessing he was about 160 in that ring, the size was just to much. Kinda the reason why 4 weight class champs are rare, moreso a multi weight champ that was unified.

He didn’t get exposed cause he’s already been exposed like that before. Linares is a highly skilled boxer but is incredibly vulnerable if you put it on him early. His early KO losses to Salgado, Thompson and now Cano all prove this.

The size/weight was also a factor Jorge is too small for 140, he’s also 33 now and has had a long career so maybe age is catching up.

Everyone thats trying to excuse this ko because Cano was "too big" doesn't know about Linares. I like Linares but he's not a top level guy never has been, he had been koed before by fighters in his class and one was Salgado, not a good fighter at all.

I'm aware that he has been knocked out before but that was years ago.

I wrongly assumed he had developed and put those days behind him. Kind of like how you don't expect Pacquiao to get knocked out anymore despite him losing to Torrecampo and Singsurat way back when.

Pacman was koed by Torrecampo early in his career, Linares was in his prime had beaten good fighters and I believe he was or had been champion when he was koed by Salgado.
