Didn't you hear? It was actually Al Bernstein and Larry merchant who commented those sexual assaults. They just pinned the blame on Broner coz he's a poor little black kid just trying to make a living. He is owning it, ain't he? The guy just owns being the heel. He is getting meaningful fights and nice paydays. People tune in to watch him lose or to hope the villain wins and he is fine with that. Boxing needs personality more so than any other sport to be relevant. Broner has that in shades.

Broner's selling of this fight has been extremely lazy and uninspired. He is going for cheap racial dogwhistles and slurs and then going with angry ****** thug. He seems to be only marketing the fight to a niche group of urban and poor people that tend to positively respond to this type of stuff.

I think Broner's value is drastically reduced in the climate we operate in nowadays. He needs to just stick to the funny catchphrases like "anyone can get it" and the self deprecating humor rather than what he's done for this fight.
