Do fans really want another GGG -v- Canelo Fight? Wouldn't it be more interesting to see both fight other quality opponents? There's too much of this 'he won even if he lost officially' nonsense around, like a bunch of gossiping old women half the time. Move on and look forward to the future.
Golovkin doesnt want 3rd Canelo fight??

Hah, naw.
I can't actually say what's acceptable other than cite sources. Every reasonable person judging either fight produced scores that I suggested.
1st fight: Canelo 7-5, 6-6, 5-7 GGG, 8-4 GGG
- A card different than these is highly suspect.
2nd fight: Canelo 7-5 or 6-6
- A card different from those is highly suspect as the fight was very close, but most rounds were clear. Which is why all 3 judges had it either 7-5 or 6-6.
You're doing the exact same thing again, man. That word 'reasonable' - that's the kicker. Who gets to decide what's 'reasonable'? Plenty of folk scored the Golovkin win - majority in fact - they all 'unreasonable'? I mean personally had the second 7 - 5 Golovkin, but certainly I ain't got a problem with 6 - 6 or 7 - 5 Canelo. Lot of other folk who I think usually turn in OK scores did too. The anti Mexican bias thing might make sense in the weird racially charged environment of North America, but makes no sense on this side of the Atlantic. Why would a Brit prefer a Kazakh to a Mexican?
And the judges said so, so it's true, huh? You telling me you never thought the judges got it wrong? What do you say when someone uses that argument on you?
Anyways. I'm just messing with ya really... it is what it is. I don't agree with the judges cards or the result, but I ain't pretending I ain't a big time GGG fan from before he even got well known. Thing is I see worse cards on the regular for other fighters and don't make a fuss so I ain't making too big a deal of this one either... shouldn't matter whether it's your favourite fighter or a dude you don't care much about. Smarts a bit cos GGG left with not much to call a legacy and the overall outcome of 0 - 1 - 1 doesn't really do justice to his performance, but hey, my biggest interest has always been the up and comers anyway.Last edited by Citizen Koba; 01-14-2019, 06:59 AM.Comment

Are you Mexican? I just googled Canelo vs GGG 2 and checked the press scores, do it and have a lookHah, naw.

I saw one blogger on BLH score the fight 6-4-2 for GGG. One of the funniest things I've read since "Wonder White BreadMan" last Mailbag. Dude hates MexiCHAMPS. Is lol AFComment

Since GGG was a victim of 2 very su****ious decisions, then who can blame him for not taking a third fight (if the report is true)?Comment

You say "majority". What majority? Majority of ****sexuals? Majority of Trump supporters? Majority of white supremacists?

What majority? That's why we use sources, kid.
If you want to make a statement you gotta support itComment

Ehh, neither guy really gets hurt, no knockdowns, always close and nothing super dramatic evers lands. I honestly have no excitement for a 3rd fight to happen. I have Dazn so atleast i can just watch it through that so it is what it is.Comment

Golovkin's team have zero authority to pick gloves diet referee etc. The NSAC picks the referee, and what gloves are legal to use. They were very clear that the gloves Canelo wanted to use were not acceptable in a world title fight. They also were clear that the handwraps in the first fight were acceptable. The referee is also appointed by the commission. I don't know when Sanchez and company suddenly got the power to overrule the NSAC and Canelo's trainers.Gennady/Abel picked the ref:
- As for the referee, Kenny Bayless was unavailable to once again be the third man in the ring, so that assignment belongs to New York/New Jersey-based Benjy Esteves, who’ll be reffing both men for the first time in his career.
It wasn’t an entirely smooth-sailing selection process, of course. When the commission replaced Bayless with Tony Weeks, Golovkin’s camp objected, citing a recent fight involving Denis Shafikov, whom Golovkin’s coach Abel Sanchez also trains.

Abel/Loeffler told Canelo what food to eat/avoid
- “Canelo’s trainer, Chepo Reynoso used to be a butcher, he’s in the meat business, he should know which meats to avoid because of this problem in Mexico,” Sanchez said to ******.com.
https://www.************.com/2018/03...eats-to-avoid/
- “I know Oscar is down there in Mexico with Canelo. Make sure, Canelo, less Mexican meat, more Mexican style this time, September 15. Make sure everything goes the right way.

Abel/GGG whining about Canelo's handwraps and gloves...which were approved by NSAC.
- “Here in Nevada they seem to accept stacking, which everybody in the boxing business knows it’s illegal way of wrapping hands...but because Nevada allows it and the rules are very vague, there’s not more I can say about not accepting that. But I will say, though, there is rules in their bylaws that says that you’re allowed to use a maximum of 12 feet of 2-inch tape, which in turn would be say 24 [feet] of 1-inch tape.
“If you look at the video where I protested, they used the whole roll on the first layer — which is 30 feet. And they used another roll on the top layer which is another 30 feet! So, to me, that’s more close to 50-60 feet. I am questioning that and Tom [Loeffler] and I have had discussions about that with Mr. Bennett. I want those rules followed. We’re gonna follow ‘em — we’re gonna follow the rules!
“I want that talked about now! I don’t wanna wait until we’re in the dressing room. I don’t wanna disrupt their concentration. What I’d like to do is get it resolved now because it is 24 feet. It it’s vague it’s vague, I understand that, but if it’s in the rules then follow the rules, specifically.”

- "“Notice that they were gloves that had never been used in a championship fight,” Sanchez said to ESPN Deportes about Canelo’s new gloves that he wanted to wear. ”We did not feel it was fair to use them because they had not been tested. We do not know if they are going to break. Imagine that they break in the third round and then Canelo takes advantage to recover or take a break,” Sanchez said."
https://www.************.com/2018/09...anelos-gloves/
- "Saul Canelo Alvarez won’t be using the No Boxing No Life glove brand for the rematch with Gennady Golovkin. Those gloves were objected to by Golovkin’s trainer Abel Sanchez due to them never having been used in a world title fight.
Canelo will instead be using the ‘Winning’ gloves that he wore for his previous fight with GGG last September, according to ESPN Deportes. Canelo didn’t win the fight, so it didn’t matter. Sanchez was not on board with Canelo using the ‘No Boxing No Life’ gloves for the rematch with GGG. Sanchez also isn’t happy about Canelo’s trainer’s method of wrapping his gloves, which he calls, ‘stacking.’"

Abel and GGG even telling Canelo how to/how not to fight:
- "I hope he's more aggressive," Sanchez said. "The fans deserve it so they can see a better fight.
It's impossible to knock somebody out when they run. Don't run."
"It was his fighting style earlier, not just in the September fight," GGG said. "He always has a way of running in the ring, but it was his style. However, what happened on our last fight, he was really avoiding fighting close to me. I think that's exactly what happened, but what he's trying to say right now, it just proves that he's not keeping his word.
"He's trying to deceive people again, and being dishonest. But it doesn't matter what he said. Let him say whatever he wants."

I've literally proven everything I stated and even added more fun tidbits about diva Gennady.
So I've used reality to explain why Canelo is 1-0-1 versus Gennady, is the A-side, how Abel/Tom/GGG whined and cried to Canelo and the media about EVERYTHING.
And you turn around and say "it's not true".
It's true, kid, it's true.
Oh and I would get banned for pointing out, using sources and quotes, the glaring bias and prejudice toward contemporary Mexican fighters by "WonderWhite Breadman"Comment

Majority of sources that I've seen, man. Ima save us a bit of time. Press row scored majority GGG or Draw, most boxers that we've seen opinions from went with Canelo or Draw... but you're missing the point. I ain't saying that you have to agree that GGG deserved the nod, I'm saying that claiming anyone who disagrees with your opinion is unreasonable is false logic. I'm criticising your argument not attempting to address your conclusions which are after all a matter of subjective opinion.
Point is plenty of guys who ain't notorious for dodgy opinions saw it Golovkin's way, and if you choose to go down the path of accusing people of bias or 'unreasonableness' then why are those who scored for Canelo demonstrably more impartial? Cos you happen to agree with 'em, perhaps?
EDIT:
And hell, man. I'm flattered. Not often I get called a kid these days, shit... Ms Koba gonna have laugh at that one.

I'm white. Here are the official cards:

I don't need to review of casual fans that like popularity contests when I have professional fighters and trainers some of which are current/future HOF'ers.
