That's a damned good question. We'll see how it goes. Golovkin has already said he doesn't believe he'll ever get fair judging against Canelo and it's not an unreasonable point (even though if they were to fight again I'd have to lean towards Canelo getting a clear victory).
If he believes he has enough money to secure his and his families future maybe it does make more sense to end his career on a win or two or at least in a fight where the cards ain't stacked against him... hell, or even a legacy fight at SMW.
Point is Gomez is trying to shame Golovkin into a fight which he which he almost certainly at this stage cannot win in order to try to remove the perceived blemish on Canelo's record moving forward. That beating GGG at 37 doesn't prove any more (and probably less) than getting the nod at 36 is pretty much besides the point. They want the public to see Canelo beat him clearly or know that Golovkin refused the trilogy.
What would you do in Golovkin's position?Comment

Como que ya no quiere BambaHi, bro
"Como que ya no quiere Bamba de Canelo".
This is like:
"GGG does not want that smoke".
Bamba is like dancing, it's a latin song.
So, he is saying that GGG does not want the third fight.
"Prefiere facililitas como antes. Veremos Amigos".
"He want the easy way as before(fighting bums lol).
We will see, friends".
Don't want that smoke in spanish

That's my new sayingComment

The issue here, GGG hater, is that this is just goldenboy's side of the story and nobody knows what they offered GGG. It could be a very lowball offer like a 80/20 split or a 10 million flat fee. Maybe GGG is sick of getting screwed by Vegas judges and their generous scoring toward Canelo and thinks he can only win by KO.Comment
