Can't say I blame him, he already cemented his legacy and should fight broner Danny Garcia fights at this stage, but to say he did it for money that's not correct and anyone who has followed my posts on here knows I'm a big Pacquiao fan.

Arum was the one who turned Mayweather into a ppv star. If Mayweather stuck around with Top Rank and fought De La Hoya he would have been just as popular if not more so. The fact is besides Canelo with Golden Boy Arum is the only one who has developed ppv stars for decades. Pacquiao, Mayweather, De La Hoya, Cotto, Erik Morales ect. And now Crawford is there too and Loma will be as soon as he gets a popular enough opponent. Top Rank has always had the best of the best because Arum has always been the best promoter and paid the most. You could even argue that without Arum there would be no Canelo because Arum made odlh a star.

Pbc has had the best fighters at 147 for years overall and haven't developed a single ppv fighter. The first might be Spence but well have to see how well his fight against Garcia sells first. Even if it does well the pbc system is set up to where people will continue ducking Spence, and he might not be able to get another quality fight for awhile, and therefore no ppv fight. Top Rank forces their fighters to fight the best, not every fight of course but Arum wants return on his investments which means making big fights, which is great for the fans and the sport of boxing. Haymon has been making better fights lately, I hope that trend continues I want to see the best fights, I don't want him to fail that wouldn't benefit anyone, but history has shown that his fighters like to duck the hard fights because they can get away with it

Bob Arum's greatest mistake was not giving Pacquiao 20 million to fight Crawford in passing of the torch. Losing money in order to gain more--a tactical investment. Now, Manny is in uncle Al's stable which will make sure he will get paid and whomever beats him will see their stock supercharged and so is Al's bank account.

The only slim chance Bob will ever get is if Manny by some form of miracle beats all of these young champions from Al's stable, this will net him another fighter of the decade award and becomes undisputed pound for pound number for one last time, then decides to crossover and fight Crawford for his farewell fight, but this time would probably ask for more than 20 million.

But folks that's just fairy tale. a 40++ years old war-torn fighter won't ever beat all these young on their absolute prime champions that's just dungeons and dragons fantasy type story--don't keep your hopes up.

With all the ESPN plus dates Bob has to fill I'd think it was a no brainer for him to carry some of Pac's cards.

You forgot to mention that Spence has to fight a light weight because he can't get PBC title shot and at 160 PBC is dead in the water.
            Unfortunate but also true.

Al Haymon and PBC are now the premiere brand in boxing like it or not. The only people who refuse to accept this are the biased boxing writers and a few delusional race hating fans.

As Media heir apparent and darling Hearn struggles with creating interesting matchups, PBC is bringing us the BEST fights.

Time to put media momentum where it should be. If Arum wasn’t such an emotional old dude he would be strategic and start partnering with Al because he represents the only life line for Top Rank.

Good day gents, hope you can digest this truth!!!

He's fighting Broner and one more fight, that's the plan. Potentially a farewell Floyd rematch.

Brook was a mandatory, it had nothing to do with Al's match making prowess. Thurman, Porter and Danny intend to only fight one another and scrubs for the next few years..and if Spence or fans don't like it too bad.

So many fighters with Al Haymon seem to have their own promotions! I guess that's why so many fighters like Haymon, because he guides their business interests, and not just their fights!
That's the point, and it's how these guys get double paychecks and go to PBC. They get their fight purse, but they also get the promoters cut.

It's why all the PBC guys have been laughing when Eddie offers them "double their filed purses"
