I was his biggest hater but this thread is ******est in history.

Lejia, Ruelas, Quartey, Whitaker, Mayorga, Chavez, Camacho, Gatti

And should’ve gotten the nod against Trinidad and Mosely.

    The mans a legend.

If one is calling ODLH's resume overrated, that doesn't bode well for MANY FIGHTERS.

Not his resume. But he is overrated because he is held in higher esteem than he deserves. He was great. He was also given a big head start. But overrated some. He was great.

            You are who you beat.
Lets put every fighter up to those standards.

Oscar was a good fighter but i wouldn't put him as an ATG. Controversial decisions followed him throughout his career. In my opinion, Sweet Pea should have at worst, gotten a draw. I feel he won, but judges thought differently.

He also beat my favorite fighter of all time in Trinidad. The judges screwed him. Quartey was a close fight. I have no problem with that decision.

The fight no one mentions is Felix Sturm. I felt Sturm got robbed almost as bad as Sweet Pea did vs JCC. Oscar looked defeated to me. I'm not sure why people think he was robbed vs floyd, but i felt he lost that fight easily.

Mosley II could have gone to either fighter, i had oscar winning myself.

In my opinion, he's below Floyd, Whitaker, Hopkins, Manny. Above Camacho, Vargas, Yory Boy, Quartey. Him, Trinidad and Mosley are about even. A HOF Fighter for sure, but a bit overrated.

Would have loved to see him fight Forrest and Winky

                Leon Spinks likes that theory.

It's a good thing us ''impartial'' fight ''fans'' have other theories.

A lot of fight fans would be bitter if their guy was put under that microscope.

The three best wins on Ole' Fishnets' resume are old man Chavez, coked up Whitaker and Trinidad KO victim Fernando Vargas.

                    Ducked Tszyu
                    Ducked the Trinidad rematch
                    Ducked Vernon Forrest
                    Ducked Winky Wright

Do you know much about how the fight was negotiated?
