Not sure. I was going to say maybe it is because he is a former PED cheat, but so are Whyte and Ortiz...among others.

They aren't serious. They are just talking. They don't want that smoke this early for Usyk. He has to develop and grow into that division first. I would first put him in with a journeyman or at best some gatekeeper before I would a contender like Ortiz, Povetkin or Whyte.

I agree with you and Povetkin gave my boy trouble. Parker was tricky too so I sang his praises for a bit and saw him get annihilated by Whyte so now he is garbage. So I will have to see Povetkin fight another top guy to fully back him. I think he beats Whyte but I thought Parker would too so who knows

Maybe he catches up with him in the changing rooms after the fight. Usyk wins a unanimous decision

I hope not, cause I’d actually like to see him develop, not prematurely derailed cause someone got too excited.

What most people seem to forget that Ortiz has good footwork for an old man. He has good spacing and distance and knows how to cut off the ring well. His kryptonite is power not speed. So if Usyk decides to run too much he would run the risk of getting stopped and knocked out.

True, lol, all of them. But wasn’t Povetkin brutally tested before the Joshua fight ?

If so, a clean version of Povetkin is still very formidable.
