      Sht list

this list is a joke... Crawford #1???

putting too much weight on “eye” test... resume/ledger is a big factor, which Crawford does not have, fact.

Win Win for Mikey, not so much for Spence

Thats why I am not a fan of these types of fights. Mikey has like a 3% chance of winning, if it breaks for him that night and he gets the win he gets all the laurels. If, in all likelihood, Mikey loses he still gets lauded for fighting an opponent where he had little chance of winning. I'd rather see someone 'dare to be great' by consistently fighting at their peak level of greatness (best weight class), as opposed to fighting where they are not their best.

Conversely, with a win, Spence at best gets more name recognition but will get no respect from the boxing community at large. He is the one who is taking the risk here, because he is the one with something to lose (a loss here really stunts his career).

I think if Spence beats Mikey, then that's as expected (size matters etc), and they both stay where they are (although I still question why Spence ahead of Thurman). If Mikey beats Spence, then Mikey got to move up given he would now have proved himself at multiple weights.

Eh, it's not a terrible list. I feel for you guys I really do.

It's just hard to make a legit P4P list when you have guys like Crawford & Garcia who are undefeated in almost 40 fights and have won belts in different divisions vs. guys like Lomachenko & Usyk, who may have technically fought better comp, but are at like 12 & 15 fights.

Then you have guys like GGG & Canelo where everybody agrees they're P4Pers, but both of their fights were "controversial", so do you put Canelo higher than GGG, even if you think GGG beat Canelo. This was the same issue with Ward & Kovalev after their first fight.

For me, I do reward the official result and put Ward & Canelo over GGG & Kovalev, but I don't punish GGG & Kovalev too much, so they're still on the list and can easily climb back up

Lmao at that list. Golovkin not at #1 after having the KO of the year and then getting robbed against a fighter who was roided. Come on.

I can stomach the argument for why Crawford and Loma are ahead of Usyk, but Mikey Garcia? Did he already beat Spence and we didn't know about it? Dude has no business in top3 P4P.
