Ward could've used Spence/Garcia as a better example. You know everyone will say it if/when Spence win. No one said it when Golovkin beat Brook. In fact, the truly absurd used Brook's weight jump to discredit Spence's win in their own twisted logic. The double standard in boxing is rampant.

With that being said, the Mayweather fight is a poor example. Any sane person knows it was an exhibition fight and holds no merit.

Chit for 9M+ I would fight Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua fight and I'm around 145lbs. I understand why Floyd done it.

My main problem with the fight was that; as significant as Floyds size advantage was he wouldn't engage in kick boxing bout with Tenshin it had to be Boxing rules only.

My prediction on Floyd is that he has one more exhibition type fight that bombs (vs Khabib or Conor rematch) > runs out of money (knowing Floyd he has already spent that Rizin cash) > then has to fight an elite fighter (Spence/Thurman/Crawford) who destroys him.

Lots of people thought Rigo would school Loma. It wasn't just fanboys. There was a lot of pro fighters that thought Rigo would win prior to the fight. You can go on YouTube and find all of the interviews.

There is always revisionist history after a fight. I remember before Oscar-Pac people were picking Oscar by murder. Then after the fight Pac beat a drained washed up Oscar.

That fight was more entertaining and at least more cleaner than all his fights put together.

Loma is very skilled but it’s disingenuous to act like the weight is a factor in every other fight except that one.

Lets be real Dunn, that fight was a joke and would have ended the same way at 126. Simply put Loma was just too fast and too maneuverable for Rigo to keep up. Rigo kept his hands at home because he was overwhelmed by the angles and speed.

Loma is fighting in a weight class where he is the small guy so I dont get it. Not that he even mentioned Loma at all, that's just the OP imagination at work

We will never really know that since Loma brought him up 2 weight classes and was bigger. Please don’t be disingenuous about the affect of the weight.

If that in some way reduces the victory that is because there is a history of that here on NSB. I can’t change that and neither can you.”

Angles and speed played a role for sure, so did the size difference. If Arum and his matchmakers thought otherwise we wouldnt have had to wait for Loma to outgrow 126 before the fight happened.

Actually maybe he's speaking about Spence. He's supposedly the boogeyman and he's fighting a guy 2 weight classes smaller
