Not mention the PBC content is nearly 70% cheaper than the UFC content on the same platform.

I'm sure the FOX executives are very happy with these numbers.

His jab isn't nearly effective and he doesn't always manage distance was well as he does for an orthodox fighter. GGG will be right there for him and Charlo will be able to take his punches. That has FOTY written all over it. If GGG decides to sign with the PBC, then that fight has to happen next.
How do you know a skilled orthodox boxer - which GGG definitely is - wouldn't give him fits too?

Jermall has never fought anybody at Golovkin's level, skill wise, not even at 154.

And how do you know he would be able to take Golovkin's punches?

Again, he has never been in with anybody who hits anywhere near as hard as GGG.

I can't see the fight happening. Charlo wouldn't want to risk losing a possible huge payday vs Canelo, and GGG doesn't need to take a massive pay cut against Charlo to earn another shot at Canelo.

If Canelo wants to fight GGG, he'll do it, and if he doesn't, he won't, no matter what the WBC say.

If this was Broner or Spence headlining, they would be disappointing numbers, but this card was headlined by the Charlo's who have NEVER headlined a card before. Solid numbers for sure, with a lot of room for improvement.

They compared favorably against the other networks in the 18-49 demo which is huge. It's only they didn't do so well in the 50+ range and that was the difference in the ratings. But FOX is paying so much less for boxing content than they did for UFC content. For the ratings to be similar to the best UFC cards in 2018, they certainly won't be disappointed with that.

Mell might of lost in a close fight & Mall looked like he can take a punch & looked like he can give it back so why is that so hard for you to comprehend?

When did I say GGG won't give him fits? Who doesn't GGG give him fits? I just don't agree that GGG destroys him. Don't see that happening at all. Jacobs went tooth and nail with GGG while getting put on his a$$ by Sergio Mora few fights prior and then was taken to the limit by Sulecki. Just because Charlo struggled with Korobov doesn't mean he won't have a chance vs GGG. That's not how it works.

And how am I sure Charlo takes GGG's punches? Because this mutha f'er takes flush shot after flush shot and doesn't even blink. From the JRock fight to last weekend, if he had any slight weakness in his chin it would have shown. Charlo would have buckled at least once or been wobbled but he didn't even take a step back. The chin is for real. He may lose to the likes of Canelo and GGG, but a stoppage is highly highly highly unlikely.

Dude, what makes you think the WBC mandates the Canelo fight anytime soon? Are you kidding me he won't take a GGG fight for a very good payday? This is one of the reasons Haymon badly wants to sign GGG. If Charlo is able to beat him, it will propel him to another level.

Tbh, they didn't seem like good numbers to me, considering the size of the possible audience and the fact that this wasn't on PPV.

But it's encouraging that they are higher than the UFC numbers, and a good start, I guess. It's time for Haymon to bring his "stars" out of their shells, match them against each other, and throw some money at anybody else who wants a piece of them .. like Crawford, for instance.

The Crawford fight won't happen without PPV being involved. In fact, Arum's suggestion is dual PPV for a fight that may not even do 350k buys. Fair to say Spence/Crawford won't happen anytime soon. Now, maybe DSG ends up fighting Crawford on PPV, but it sure won't be a dual PPV. But if Thurman/Porter fight, better chance we get Spence/DSG rather than Crawford/DSG.

Charlo looks a lot easier to hit than Jacobs, and he can't box southpaw to throw GGG off, like Jacobs did. And taking punches flush from the likes of J Rock and Korobov is one thing .. taking flush shots from GGG is something else again!

Canelo has an iron jaw, and rides punches brilliantly, but even he was bothered by a couple of the shots GGG landed in their second fight, and they weren't really flush either.

How badly does Haymon want to sugn GGG? I haven't heard much about that, only that the PBC was one of the options Golovkin was considering.
