Atlas is historically horrible at judging.

He had Manny DOMINATING Horn - which he didnt. It was 115-113 either way.

He had GGG DOMINATING Canelo in 1st fight - he didnt. 115-113 either way.

Atlas is like Fox NFL Hosts..if they pick your fighter to win..pray. Because they dkwtf they talking about
Teddy has more boxing IQ in his pinky than you will ever have in that gray matter and that is fact. He is THE LEAST biased color analyst you’ll ever see and calls it like it is.

The fight was close. My eyes tells me Jermell won the fight, but he didn't look spectacular doing it. Believe it or not, it's almost like the first Pacquiao/Bradley fight. Pacquiao didn't look like his old self and the judges dinged him for it. Because Pacquiao was the more popular fighter, the outrage was far greater. Pacquiao won that fight but didn't look great and suffered the consequences. Jermell to a lesser extent didnt look good against an opponent that fought better than expected. Although, Harrison has shown that he can box but always fall short because of his poor stamina in big fights. The judges gave Harrison the benefit of the win but I can't say he necessarily deserved it.
This is probably one of the most ignorant responses I’ve read. “His guy?” You ask ANYONE who know ANYTHING about boxing and they’ll tell you Teddy is the most unbiased color analyst out there. I don’t mean that as a Teddy fan (which I am) I mean that in all honesty. You can’t be taken serious on these forums if you imply Teddy is biased because that’s just plain bull****. Teddy is notorious for picking the non club fighterbin fights and sticking up for them while yelling in the mic.

dude I couldn’t agree with you more. I feel the exact same way. You have to take the title from champ and Harrison didn’t do that. I’m a little surprised that there are so many people saying Harrison won. I think that is because people hate the charlo boys. If charlo won would there be people posting it was a robbery? I seriously doubt it. I think most are just riding the wave cause it came in for Harrison. As as teddy goes well the man is banned for life from ever calling a fight on espn, so what does that tell you.

I am surprised by Teddy's praise of the officials. I felt Charlo won, just like I felt Pacquiao beat Horn, and for the same reasons! Just because you fight better than expected (and I expected Harrison to fight well from the jump) it doesn't mean you deserve the title!

All of you Charlo fanboys need to chill out! Harrison was making Jermell miss all night! Charlo only landed 4 or 5 significant punches all night! So what if Jermell was the aggressor most of the night, that doesn't mean anything if you're not landing shots! All this bullshiiitt about having to beat the champ, well, Harrison did beat the champ!

This is the first time I agree with Teddy Atlas. Charlo clearly lost. And the Russian beat the other Charlo and was robbed!

You always have to beat the champion to take his title. A draw results in the incumbent Champion retaining. That, I believe, is all that adage ever meant.

If you ask ME I'll tell you he IS NOT unbiased. His "guys" are Lomachenko, Golovkin, and Pacquiao to a lesser extent. All you have to do is listen to his commentary. This has nothing to do with what me or anyone know about boxing.
