Yeah Teddy, but why did it stink? Do all the criteria to win have nothing to do with the spectacle? If ineffective aggression gets no points, how does outright evasion merit any? A jab to set up a right or a combo is OK. A jab as a parting shot is trickeration.

Agree with Teddy. He usually gets the decision outcomes right in a fair way.

Didn't Teddy whine about GGG losing the rematch to Canelo as well ?

look, you have to get it right in there

old school judges need the pressure fighter to be effective

if the supposed aggressor is ineffective, then he got outboxed..... that is how they see it

which is why the " but GGG doe " guys have it wrong

              again lol

it is hard to argue with your post, good work..... but how they see it is, defence IS valid scoring criteria..... so defence > ineffective aggression

that is what I was meaning about old-school judges..... that is why Willie Pep won a round without throwing a punch..... and that is why Adelaide Byrd still has a job after Canelo/Golovkin I

she had the right idea, but forgot to watch both fighters..... how she found some of those very quiet middle-rounds for Canelo is amusing, but yea, like most old-school judges..... when a pressure fighter faces a boxer, and the pressure fighter is ineffective, then she will score for the boxer

Watching strictly as a fan of boxing, I thought it was robbery the first time I watched it. But the second time, I actually studied the fight and scored it a draw. And that’s because I gave a couple of close rounds to Charlo. Had I given those close rounds to Harrison, I would of had the same scores as the judges.

Jermell's agression was largely inneffective. He got hit a lot and was being beaten to the punch. He looked tentative even when he had Harrison against the ropes, and was throwing wild punches or even throwing being out of range. He had his moments but they were few and far between. A mediocre performance overall.

Harrison did nothing special but was much more consistent with his work. He dominated the fight with his jab and landed the cleaner punches throughout the fight. He fought cautiously but still got the better of many, if not most, exchanges. He came with a smart gameplan and stuck to it the whole fight.

I scored it 115-113 and when the fight was over I had no doubt about the winner. Harrison was better than Charlo that night. These judges should be commended.
