          There's only so many 6'5 Tony Gonzales' in Mexico. And he decided to play football. They are out there, but are rarer than unicorns.

            Mexican men are short on average, they are about 5'5" - 5'7".

            Same with most Latin-American and Asian countries.

            You'll have a hard time to find a Latin-American country who's average height for males reaches 5'9".

            With that said, Latin-American kids these days seem to be getting taller. They're reaching 5'11"-6' in middle school. Probably due to being Americanized and having access to better food, lifestyle.
