That's a lie. Hearn confirmed it was real and even admitted he discussed it for weeks with Finkel and Haymon before AJ ultimately decided to turn it down because he didn't want to fight in America.

Finkel publicly stated if AJ accepted the 50 million, the UK rights would go to the highest bidder. That he had secured an offer from BT and all Sky had to do was match it, which they surely would have.
