If Haymon/Wilder were serious they would have never involved BT. FACT. BS offer.
Oh, The Hypocrisy Of AJ Fan!

He tells you right there. The issues were with the contracts he already had like his contract with Sky. Haymon/Wilder knew Joshua was contracted to Sky and the fight being on BT was impossible, so why involve BT at all? Because they didn't want the damn fight that's why.
You ****** Wilder fans got played.

Either way, it aint a good look.
When Wlad vs AJ happened, wasn't one guy HBO and the other Showtime?
When Floyd vs Pac happened, wasn't one guy HBO and the other Showtime?
What makes you think that this could not have been handled similarly?
For all we know, they were mentioning BT to give them more leverage for Sky, which is in more homes in Britain.
They certainly didn't need ANY money from BT, as some AJ fans have fantasized. They were simply discussing the rights to air the fight in Britain with BT.
In any case, nothing was written in stone yet and those kind of conflicts get ironed out during negotiations AFTER the fight is accepted.
Which it wasn't.
It was turned down because all of a sudden AJ decided the British fans deserved the fight...this after running away from every other negotiation for almost a year.
I am also curious as to how these "partners" get entitled to half of his 50 million.
Which partners? And why so big a chunk?
In any case, even half of 50 million would be the largest guarantee AJ ever received by several millions...in the most lucrative fight of his life.
There is just no way he should have turned down that offer. And, that being the case, he has no room to talk about what Wilder will or won't accept.Comment

The best hypocrisy of the week was on Tha Boxing Voice...those guys actually thought it was a good idea to get Finkel and record him as though it somehow made Wilder look good ?
And that was when asked why the Klitschko fight never happened Mr FICKLE responded with ,
" We wanted Wilder to feel what it was like to be a champion to see if it was right for him " , he then mumbles gibberish and then realized what he said then mysteriously broke up and said he's call back which got him off that subject !
In fact that entire show with him and that guy who lost to Fury on it was an entire contradictions of epic proportions , Mr. FICKLE not answering the voice where the money was coming from..literally refused to answer it when BT sports came up and then says big fights are done through meetings and sitting down and discussing them yet forgets he cancelled them and says they're counter productive ?
Another good one was they are upset with Hearn for having a set date and venue in place? Wasn't a no date and venue the initial reason he declined the AGREED to contract and then says big fights don't have pre planned venues in advance ?
Yes these are the clowns you protect on here and side with !

It was an absolute non starter when BT would have had to be the ones showing the fight and not SKY. Warren knew that, that's why he said it wouldn't come off, and that he would turn it down if he was in the same situation. Finkle knew too, it was just more games in a saga of games.
If Hearn's offer stipulated that the fight was to be on HBO and Showtime would have to take a back seat, it would quite rightly be laughed off by everyone. Especially Wilder fans.Comment

Showtime and HBO showed the fight at two separate times, so all this jargon you keep making isn't working. BT and Sky aren't going to do a deal and show a fight at the same time of two U.K rival networks ,Either you are actually that ****** or you are being this obtuse on purpose.

Beyond that Klitschko and Joshua were even draws , Wilder has zero pulling power in the U.K it's all Joshua so to manipulate a laughable contract or stipulations was a deliberate road block and that's why the fight didn't happen.
Read my previous post bc that applies to you as well.

Never in a million years. Warren would of been strict on BT only if he was going forward with it.Showtime and HBO showed the fight at two separate times, so all this jargon you keep making isn't working. Wilder makes 10 million max for fury and gets beat......he has now double that on the table to face joshua and still won't fight him in april at 90k wembley stadium and thats with a real contract, with real money and a set venue.
Wilder is a donkeyComment

not to all Joshua fans, just some..... you know who you are.....
you wankers made excuses for Pacquiao for FIVE YEARS.....
..... and he lost !
you wankers made excuses for Golovkin for FIVE YEARS.....
..... and he lost !
now you wankers are making excuses for Poshua.....
..... will he lose..... ?
IF he loses, will you then plead with me to take it easy on you..... like you have started doing with Golovkin?
why do that? it is clearly obvious who wants that fight, and who does notComment

I see both sides have tried to discredit the other from day 1 while at no point this fight has ben close to getting made. Wilder, Finkel and the fans blame AJ and Hearn. AJ, Hearn and the Joshua fans have blamed Wilder and Finkel.
Ive never known a 50 million offer to a fighter not come with some sort of contract. Ive never known a fighter whose biggest payday was 2 million then turn down 15 million and a chance to become undisputed and call it chicken feed money.
All i can do is look now and Joshua has some seriously big contracts for Wilder and Wilder is running for the wind. Not just saying "sorry i have unfinished business with Fury" cuz that is fine but we are getting "im dont with Joshua im not interested in his belts".
And then we have tricky Shelly Finkel. Shelly told Hearn, if you want this fight send me some offers and make them serious, when we receive serious offers we will look at them. But now he is spitting at Hearn saying how dare he send him serious offers, it is akin to being dictated to and he wont be dictated to we dont make big fights by just accepting somebody elses offer (that is how we do it actually Shelly). Completely contradicting himself yet again.
But Shelly was asking for these offers only 6 weeks ago. Shelly also mocked Hearns 15 million offer because it didnt come with 2 details, date, venue. But what details did the 50 million offer come with??????? NONE, ZERO. They can turn down a career high pay day based on 2 missing details, even though they knew EXACTLY what the date and venue was. But its proof that Joshua is ducking when they turn down an offer when Finkel wont tell them a SINGLE DETAIL, let alone just 2 missing ones.
This has been the Wilder duck show since day 1 regarding Anthony Joshua. They have ran from the beginning. The resume of Wilder tells us all we need to know.Comment
