Does anyone want to see Joshua-Whyte II?

Seems the Hearn brigade are trying hard to sell this fight for April. Like "Oh nothing is set in stone and we really want Wilder, but wouldn't a Whyte rematch be great?! We're trying really hard to get Wilder, but how great would AJ-Whyte II be?!" The answer is no, it wouldn't. Even if Whyte beats Chisora I don't want to see it. I am alone in that? Would rather see Fury-AJ, AJ-Wilder, AJ-Ortiz, AJ-Pulev or AJ-Miller. No need to go over old ground against limited Dillian Whyte.

Yes, but only if Whyte wins big over Chisora.

    My preference:

    1. Wilder
    2. Fury
    3. Miller
    4. Whyte
    5. Ortiz

It’s a hard sell. He needs to look really convincing. I haven’t seen anything that makes me think an aj rematch will be any different but if fury and wilder are unavailable Then I can understand why this fight gets made.

Not really. Whyte has earned a shot to be fair, he's WBO mandatory and he's had a good run of late and if he beats Chisora convincingly this time it's a clear indications he's improved greatly from the first AJ fight.

But let's be honest Wilder and Fury are much more interesting fights. I'd also prefer Miller in the US over Whyte in the UK. But I'd prefer Whyte over Pulev if all these other options fall through.

Who out of the challengers deserves it more? Isn't boxing supposed to be about fighters earning shots at titles?

Great example of how Hearn manipulates fans.

The WBO mandatory was Povetkin. Then Hearn says to the WBO, please don't count him as the mandatory, count Whyte as the mandatory instead so it's easier for me to justify the Whyte fight.

The WBO says no problem and fans fall for it.

Ducked Pulev and Ortiz, was fortunate to get a decision over Chisora and if he hadn't concussed Parker with a headbutt, probably doesn't win that one either.

I would rather see Pulev or Ortiz get a shot.

Nothing “earns” it more than refusing to fight anyone who you might lose to. Challenge them on social media, pull out.

Whyte isn’t WBO mandatory, Povetkin was. Pulev actually IS mandatory though (IBF) so if he wants wilder so bad, and can’t for April, get Pulev out of the way.
