Why don't you just man up and admit that Canelo did exactly the same thing BJS did .. waited till GGG was over the hill before agreeing to fight him?

At least BJS came out and admited it. He knew the UK fans were neither ****** nor hypocritical enough for him to do anything else!

Golovkin ran around for SIX YEARS saying 'anyone from 154-168'

but when shlt got real, he killed THREE HUGE fights over weight LMAO

you literally could not make that up

Uhh, I was. I wanted that fight more than GGG-Canelo. But Ward was inactive and had legal issues, then moved to 175. I always wanted GGG to move up though. I said I wanted him to fight Callum Smith next for example at 168 since that would be a good win for old GGG, but looks like Canelo might take that route instead which I am not impressed with. Im not impressed with Smith overall period except he looked good vs Groves but thats it. I just thought for a 37 year old GGG, to beat supposedly the new lineal champ at 168, would be nice for his legacy. And at his age, with how slowed his hands are, it would be a hard fight and a good win. But prime fast Canelo, who apparently has the ability to shapeshift now on the fly to whichever division he wants and still maintain the same speed and power but at an enhanced size, I would not be impressed, I would expect him to win big.

But anyway, I always wanted GGG to move at 168. I just wanted to see prime GGG in legacy fights. But he got stuck at 160 waiting for the money fight, and Canelo waited him out needing to "grow into being a middleweight," even though now it only takes him 3 months to effectively move up an entire weight class. But back then it took like 3 years to do it, so you know... but anyway... now GGG got old, and I think he's too old to win any true legacy fights anymore (like Ward or Bivol at 168), so I hoped he would get the next best thing which would be a B+ level opponent like Callum Smith but who is younger and 2 weight classes naturally bigger than GGG (but not than Canelo now that Canelo magically shapeshifted to being a big strong 168 pounder. Mfer looked like a right handed redheaded 168 Adonis Stevenson in there for *****s sake).

So yeah, NOW do I want to see GGG-Ward? Of course not. Not unless Ward can prove he's just as slowed down as GGG. But Ward still looked sharp last time I saw him, GGG has not looked sharp since, well, since he was the same age that Ward was the last time Ward fought, before he retired. But in his prime, I was constantly making posts pushing for GGG-Quillin, GGG-Jacobs, GGG-Saunders, GGG-Ward, GGG-Degale, GGG-Froch, GGG-Chavez Jr, before that GGG-Martinez, all of them. Now he's old so I have moved on from expecting much from his career and I'm more excited by other fights which is why I made that list. Peace

Broke his face and made his own trainer tell him he's losing fhe fight then double down after the fight and tell the world GGG didn't win the judges did a good job and that GGG lost because he was too puzzzy to fight on the inside. That they had a game plan for Canelo coming forward but GGG was just too shook. Those body punches took the Mexican Style right out that azz quick LOL

I bet the nights fly by in ur house hey.

anyways "anyone from 154 to 168"... nuff said...
Some people are blinded by hate, some by primitive, tribalistic loyalty to "their own kind"

To the unblind, 160 definitely fits into the sub groub of numbers designated: 154 to 168. It is also the weight at which all MW title fights are sanctioned, and the weight at which Canelo promised, multiple times, to defend his WBC MW belt against GGG.

"160 is no problem! Bring the gloves, I'll fight him right now!"

Canelo Alvarez, right before he relinquished his MW title and fought for the WBO SWW belt, with no prefight PED testing whatsoever, and, miraculously, was able to make 154 for the first time in over 2 years.

Golovkin has beat plenty of top rated middleweights. He cleaned out the division. Beating up fighters past their prime like Canelo has done and fighting guys with zero chance of winning like Chavez, Khan, Cotto (well past prime), Smith, Fielding, Angelo etc. does not constitute a sterlinng resume. Every time he stepped up he struggled. Lara Trout Golovkin Mayweather. Even a shop worn Cotto gave him problems. Cotto was stopped by Pac and Mayweather fighters smaller than him.

what canelo did after the khan fight was pure BS i have to agree with that... you dont open your mouth like that only to let your management have the final word... but we have to aknowledge that neither side was willing to budge even before that incident in order to make the fight happen... they didnt have to, so it is what it is...

I'm not but apparently you are. I'm saying Golovkin had fought the best Middleweight challengers in a response to another post. Since that post referenced Canelo I also pointed out that Canelo's resume isn't as good as some people think and gave examples why I thought so. If you want to compare the two guys resumes fine go ahead. Dear Lord at least try to learn the context of what your responding to before posting.

Listen ******* I have never started a thread with the purpose of trashing any fighter including Canelo or Cotto your two boxing poster boys. In response to one sided criticism from a known hypocrite (you) yeah I will respond. By the way go out and pick up a book or enrole in an online course on boxing fundamentals.
