Let me rephrase that; Canelo is the best MW in the world, followed by GGG and then Jacobs. I meant GGG is the best MW in the world behind Canelo and he will always deserve a fight vs Canelo.

Canelo-Dmitry Bivol at 168, or even Plant, Benavidez, or Uzcetagui. Any of the 168s with speed and strength at minimum, preferably speed and power. Those are really the two things any boxer needs to be considered a top opponent for any "top" boxer, BOTH speed and power, unless the skill and fitness is so overwhelming as to compensate for not having elite power. Canelo has never faced a single opponent his size with BOTH speed and power so these would be the first time which is why I doubt it happens.

Charlo-Dmitry Bivol at 168. These guys are the same size and Charlo, like Canelo, has also never faced a single opponent his size with good speed AND knockout power. Would be nice to see if Charlo actually lives up to the hype after all this talk, and the only way to prove that is to fight a top opponent your size with speed, power, skills, stamina, chin, you know, a top boxer, not someone with major obvious weaknesses that everyone knows will be exploited before the fight even starts.

      Jacobs-Charlo at 160

      Bivol-Benavidez anywhere between 168 and 175
      Bivol-Zurdo anywhere between 168 and 175
      Bivol-Plant anywhere between 168 and 175
      Bivol-Smith anywhere between 168 and 175

As well as any of the other 175 champs fight any of the big 168 champs at 175 once they move up. Bivol is the only one who can come down.

These are the fights that would bring big subscriber numbers to something like DAZN or ESPN+, or bring good ratings on TV. Stop using artificial weight separations to prevent the best from fighting the best. Judge boxers by their true natural size, and then make the best matchups a reality. The best matchup from 160 to 175 is probably Bivol vs Charlo between 168 and 175, but because Charlo is staying down at 160 for the money there and Bivol is at 175 because there is more money there than 168, no one is talking about. Put that bull**** aside and open everyone's eyes to the fact they are the same size and it's the best available matchup.

Hopefully boxing moves to a second day weigh in the NIGHT/late afternoon of the fight, only 5 lbs above the friday official weigh-in, and then this issue would be resolved 100% and the sport could thrive and flourish again.
You want certain fighters to move up, but you would always defend GGG for not moving up and testing himself instead of fighting bums. HOw ironic is that, why weren't you asking for GGG to move up and face Ward.

They demanded Canelo move up weight after Loeffler already told the world we go to 154 or 168 for a big fight. And months before Canelo/Cotto told Ring Magazine that they understand that both guys have never fought at 160 and have NO PROBLEM going down weight to fight the winner. They flip flopped like some h0es after Canelo won demanding him the A side move up weight on their terms and time line and it back fired. They could of got the fight 1 year earlier had they been willing to go down in weight. Instead they weren't had to weight 1 more year for Canelo to move up and when he did he whooped that boy's azzz and it's been nothing but excuses from team GGG bullshyt ever since.

(Change "!" to "i" in link as boxingscene blocks Ring's links)

          https://www.r!ngtv.com/367331-promot...anelo-alvarez/

Loeffler said that Golovkin would have no problem fighting at a catchweight against Alvarez, who fought Lara in a 155-pound bout.

We’ve always said that if there is a compelling fight, Gennady would move up or down, we’ve talked about moving up to 168 for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. because that would be a pay-per-view fight and if it’s Canelo, then I’m sure that we could work out a catchweight if he wanted to work out a catchweight and if it’s in his best interest. So that would certainly be a pay-per-view fight,” said Loeffler.

There wouldn’t be any issues for us to come down to fight Canelo. There would still be a title on the line for Gennady because he would be fighting under 160, so he would be able to defend the titles at 156 or whatever you have the weight be. But Gennady would be willing to come down in weight to fight Canelo. I wouldn’t say it would be at 154 but certainly, given that Canelo fought his last fight at 155, then you could say that Gennady would certainly be willing to come down in weight to make the Canelo fight.

Team GGG and their bullshyt and lies. Never moved up and never moved down ducking big money fights with Ward and Canelo and even when they got the fight at 160 Canelo still whooped him and even when they cried and begged for Mexican Style he broke his face and whooped him worse. Canelo is now on weight class NUMBER 5 and this puzzzy and his team have been talking about moving weight over half decade ago and still never did it. Tried to bully smaller guys to come up because they were scared to move up themselves and it still blew up in their face.

With fair judges, GGG would be 1 - 0 - 1 against Canelo. Until Canelo beats Golovkin fair and square, he can't be any higher than No 2 at 160.

how is that hiding at 154-155 ? anyone from 154 to 168 remember? they could have done that fight much earlier but neither fighter was willing to give up a single pound when it comes to weight.. anyways you talk about canelo not being bold enough now, not in the past... again wasnt he already bold enough ?

You asked a man to come and fight toe2toe and you RUN from him.

You said you didnt beat him last time because he RAN, right? Then he came and stalked you and YOU ran from him.

You tell EVERYONE we want him to stand there and walk right to you and he DID what you asked, and hes the LIL man coming up. And you RAN.

                  Roy Jones Jr
What Canelo did in the first fight was more like running and not boxing. Roy is off his rocker on this one. What Golovkin did was box the younger guy with faster hands. If you can't see that you shouldn't be on this forum..

lil'G wasn't very bold..... offering to fight Rosado at catchweight, but then ducking Cotto and Canelo

and what's up with Golovkin running around 6 months later stating that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up?..... that wasn't very bold either

and whats up with lil'G surrendering his title to avoid Derevyanchenko?

is the Charlo fight signed yet..... ?

                    Golovkin fans..... LMAO
