Field Hockey following is mad I've never met anyone that follows that in my life.

The Fox deal had already been coming, plus they're aligned with SHO.

Idk how they would have done it.

If the money is fair and the opportunity makes sense, I've yet to see Haymon block a fighter that he works for; $5m on a straight-out fight (Charlo is mandatory challenger, therefore not obligated to a rematch or options on future fights for his title shot. A gentleman's agreement can likely be made to talk terms for a rematch, but I doubt that the DAZN deal gives Alvarez much freedom), all likely gets the deal done by Christmas

Loss leader or not, that's an embarrassing amount of money to lay out without a way to really cover even most of the expense.

I think things are different now. FOX and SHO coughed up a lot of dough for PBC! I could see Canelo vs. Charlo going to a purse bid! However, my personal choice would be for Charlo to fight Danny Jacobs at the Barclay's, and the winner gets Canelo in September!

Girls field hockey is big where I live for high school. I just didn't know it was that popular.

              • I don't think DAZN will get a big return for this investment. Can only think of like 4-5 guys Canelo can face that would be justifiable (ie madatory, high rank contender, champion).

“He is a multiple-time world champion in two weight classes, having held the unified WBA (Super), WBC, Ring magazine and lineal middleweight titles since September 2018. Previously he held the WBA (Unified), WBC and Ring light middleweight titles between 2011 and 2013; the WBC, Ring and lineal middleweight titles between 2015 and 2018, and the WBO light middleweight title from 2016 to 2017.”

According to you he fought all scrubs to get there. Lol. But hey let’s not let those pesky little facts get in the way of a good ol emotional debate eh? Let’s go a little further into the fact trove shall we? Utilizing your logic Ali fought scrubs because he faced many that gave him fits but also lost to some. That’s very logical I see what you are saying. Boxer struggles against opponent but wins = said boxer fighting scrubs....got it....

Here is some more for you
Fought Trout who spent his entire career at light MW and was undefeated. Won UD. Trout then goes on to fight Lara (went the distance) fought KO man Charlo (went the distance) fought the other charlo (went the distance) but hey he’s a scrub

Canelo goes the distance with the p4p King that no one has beat and loses. Oh that’s right Mayweather is a scrub too.

Comes back beats Lara (according to you another scrub). KOs Kirkland who at that time was 33-1 with 28 KOs (another scrub according to you), beats title holder and HOF boxer Cotto (another scrub according to you), and finally dethrones P4P King pin GGG (another scrub according to you).

Here endeth your boxing lesson now go read some books

I didn't even bother reading the novel you replied with. Don't have the time. Get lost...

Virgil Hunter said in addition to his physical attributes and being a southpaw, he has better skills than Lara having worked with them both.

Andrade has had a poorly managed career up to this point, but I think he is better than most think. There is a reason Canelo didn't fight him when he had a belt at 154, and as soon as he was stripped, he jumped at the chance to fight the guy that got Andrade's belt.
Well I guess a trainer who trained them both is a pretty reliable source so I understand. I personally just can't give him those accolades just yet. I will admit that at this stage he is the fresher of the two.
