I keep forgetting how popular tennis is but I wouldn't count it as a team sport. Is horse racing big world wide ? It's crazy to think a sport in one place is big and in another country it's dead. Like **** fighting is huge.

But why did they have Hearn try to get them? Why the heck did DAZN pay Hearn to make Matchroom USA, instead of just going straight to Haymon? If DAZN wanted the PBC fighters, then DAZN would have tried to get a deal with PBC instead of Matchroom.

Canelo vs. Charlo in Texas, for Cinco de Mayo Weekend, would be HUGE, but I don't see DAZN and PBC doing any business, anytime soon! Canelo vs. Andrade in Las Vegas, is much more likely, since they're both with DAZN! That's still a unification fight, which let's Canelo keep that strap!

If the money is fair and the opportunity makes sense, I've yet to see Haymon block a fighter that he works for; $5m on a straight-out fight (Charlo is mandatory challenger, therefore not obligated to a rematch or options on future fights for his title shot. A gentleman's agreement can likely be made to talk terms for a rematch, but I doubt that the DAZN deal gives Alvarez much freedom), all likely gets the deal done by Christmas

Im pretty sure they are viewing Canelo as a loss leader, they are willing to lose money on the deal, but are banking on him bringing in enough subscribers that they spread the world and it will all end up being profitable through the future.

Loss leader or not, that's an embarrassing amount of money to lay out without a way to really cover even most of the expense.

I think things are different now. FOX and SHO coughed up a lot of dough for PBC! I could see Canelo vs. Charlo going to a purse bid! However, my personal choice would be for Charlo to fight Danny Jacobs at the Barclay's, and the winner gets Canelo in September!

Based on talent. He is 4 inches taller than Lara, plus a southpaw, which adds to the difficulty fighting him. He has good power in both hands as well. Virgil Hunter said in addition to his physical attributes and being a southpaw, he has better skills than Lara having worked with them both.

Andrade has had a poorly managed career up to this point, but I think he is better than most think. There is a reason Canelo didn't fight him when he had a belt at 154, and as soon as he was stripped, he jumped at the chance to fight the guy that got Andrade's belt.

Well I guess a trainer who trained them both is a pretty reliable source so I understand. I personally just can't give him those accolades just yet. I will admit that at this stage he is the fresher of the two.
