Its not that anyone can just 'consider' him the unified champ, he is...its a FACT, he is the unified Heavyweight Champion. Only way to take that away is to beat him.come on man u cant consider him unified until he fights wilder or/and fury. he never beat a champion to win them titles ( and dont refer to wlad who spent two years out of the ring after a defeat and was in his 40's).
hes just salty as wilder and fury have grabbed his limelight and hes went from being the guy everyone wanted a piece of to the guy who needs to prove himself after the fight in LA. serves him right for thinking the game was in his hands without having to fight the best, u cant cheat the public
Its also a FACT, Charles Martin and Joseph Parker were World Champions, regardless of how they won the belt, regardless of how poor they faired against Joshua, its a FACT, they are former WORLD CHAMPIONS. Opinion is always trumped by fact, sorry to say.
If it goes down the route of a Wilder v Fury trilogy, who is the winner of that going to fight next? Mandatories until they retire? Not a chance. Joshua is the prize. You can deny it over and over, Joshua is the Unified World Heavyweight Champion and Fury/Wilder still want Joshua.Comment

I agree with both of you, in a way.
I would genuinely like to see the individual policies on mandatories v unification. I would assume that each organisation has a different policy.
It does seem that the WBC doesn't really hold their mandatory fighter in high regard but the IBF do push mandatory fights quite quickly.
Who knows what the hell is going on in the WBA, WBO or IBO!

My favorite part of your comment was when you said whyte beats ortiz and wilder.Wilder and Ortiz are better than Klitschko!? Don't make me laugh.
Whyte would beat Ortiz and probably Wilder.
Breazeale would probably beat Ortiz and possibly Wilder.
Povetkin would probably beat Ortiz and possibly Wilder.
Parker would probably beat Ortiz. Doubt it against Wilder though.
Fury has is a great win against Klitschko, a decent recovery win against Cunningham, a boring retirement rematch v Chisora and now a robbery draw against Wilder.
Fury is great HW boxer and will probably fight top fighters in the next few years but don't make yourself look silly.
You have won the prize for most stup1dest comment on the internet. Cong****Comment

Oh look, another one that can't do anything but throw out petty insults instead of disproving what I wrote.
How pathetic.Comment

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is not worried about the WBC's recent statement about their unanimous vote to sanction an immediate rematch between WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and challenger Tyson Fury.
“If Wilder wants to fight Fury, he'll fight Fury. If he wants to be undisputed, he'll fight Joshua. It [unification] can trump anything. I don't know how much that means to Wilder. It means everything to us, means everything to Joshua” - Eddie Hearn.
Seems like a double standard, no?Comment

lad breazeale, parker and whyte are all limited boxers compared to ortiz, do u buy into everything that comes out of eddie hearn and sky sports? uk heavyweight fans just dont appreciate boxers outside the uk ortiz even in his 40's would smash those guysWilder and Ortiz are better than Klitschko!? Don't make me laugh.

I have seen all of those guys fight, not just against Joshua but against other opponents.
Breazeale and Parker have nothing to do with Matchroom, Eddie Hearn or Sky. The only connection is that they have all fought and lost against Anthony Joshua. So, no, I don't believe everything they say, does that answer your condescending question adequately? I would pick Hearn's word over that of Finkel or Warren, any day of the week though. That's my own personal preference.
I appreciate a lot of boxers outside of the UK. Hence why I mentioned Breazeale. Unfortunately, 3 of the top 4 TBRB rated HW's are 'English' so do you blame UK fans for not rating other fighters outside of the UK?Comment

This guy has killed his brain cells and should be banned from this site. Breazeale have you watched the guy I've seen 4 of his fights he's atrocious he's not beating Wilder Ortiz I doubt he even beats chisora or Joseph. Whyte would get killed by wilder and definitely ortiz. Ortiz even at his old age is the 4th best heavyweight behind Wilder fury and Aj (no specific order). Aj I think could beat fury fury can beat Wilder and Wilder can beat AJ styles makes fights. It's like saying whom would you rather have in there prime Lionel Messi Christian's Ronaldo or neymar all three are great if not amazing just up to who you like most. Wilder should rematch fury AJ should fight Ortiz that would be a great test for both and toss up fights for both near 50/50Wilder and Ortiz are better than Klitschko!? Don't make me laugh.
