He’s questioning the validity of “lineal” whilst mentioning his IBO title. That’s Amir Khan grade dumb that is.

Of course Fury wins a war of words against anyone, but I think AJ's been really hamstrung by his association with Matchroom, who seem insistent on controlling every part of his career. So they allow Eddie to speak for him and I'm sure he has no way to know everything Eddie says, and we all know how Eddie cannot keep his mouth shut. Then when he is interviewed, you can see that uneasiness where he's trying to figure out the company line at the same time he wants to come across as a fighter that wants to take out all of his opponents while at the same time remaining family friendly for his advertisers. Too many masters. Based on his skills on the mic after his fights, the dude seems to have a natural gift for gab and is charismatic to boot. I'd love to see what he's like away from the Hearns, but he's already turned down $80 million+ to keep them happy so I think it's doubtful at this point. Don't blame him, he's set for life, who'd want to mess with that formula?Comment

Its like bug eyes warren said" Hearn is just a lil trust fund btch who loves playing dress up with his daddies company,if he was my son I'd slap him down, its the father who built,& continues to run the company,Eddie is just a spoiled brat who does nothing but act as figurehead to attract easy bjs from toothless birds impressed by his dads $$,thats why his father stays out of the media while eddie craves attention like a french whœre with a wheel of cheese in between her legs"(paraphrased)Of course Fury wins a war of words against anyone, but I think AJ's been really hamstrung by his association with Matchroom, who seem insistent on controlling every part of his career. I dunno, honestly I don't value any belt more than another. WBA,WBC,IBF, IBO,WBO, Ring, Lineal, NABF, etc. The only thing where it matters is if the fight is 10 or 12 rounds. They have all had fraud champions, have all done bogus shenanigans; it's just a matter of how long they've been doing them that separates someone like the IBO and the WBC.
Regardless of the belts a fighter holds, we still use the eye test to determine who we think is the best and the only time we know for sure is when two of them actually fight each other (and even then we argue). In my opinion, we have 3 guys who can make the claim they are the baddest man at heavyweight and until they fight each other it's still just the eye test.Comment

A contract was presented him and he chickened out to hunt a rehab patient without a belt.
There is nothing the champ can do about that.
It takes two to tangle.Comment

It's not like there was special forces attached to him not to leave the commentary section. It's part of the antics to make him sign the contract. He got shook and found an excuse not to be ring side despite being offered to be paid.Comment

Sorry for the broken link, but here's the money quote from the piece I was trying to link to:
“Wilder can come to the fight against Povetkin, sure he can, but he also wanted to get in the ring,” Joshua said via givemesport. “But I said, ‘You ain’t getting in the ring unless you sign the contract to fight me. You’re not going to make your name out of this, just sign the contract,’” Joshua said.
I know, I know, the contract! The contract with no date or venue, although Wilder had made it clear that he'd agreed to the flat rate on the condition the fight took place in September. How convenient! Hahaha! Keep slurping that *****!Comment
