Ill pirate stream the hell out of this, like i did Fury/Wilder, especially cause that was on ppv, which should be extinct
DAZN might actually be hurting Canelo's marketability.

I thought the fight was sold out. It's not sold out
Despite what I just tweeted about solid ticket sales, Golden Boy keeps saying fights are close to sold out or sold out, when it's not true. Oscar just told DAZN that 400 or 500 tickets remain available for the Canelo-Fielding card. Actually closer to 4,000 or 5,000. #CaneloRocky

I keep seeing it's because of the opponent. Why does the opponent matter when the point of DAZN signing Canelo was to get more subs? They want as many subs as possible for this fight.Comment

Well going from fighting a killer like GGG to fighting an unknown in Fielding who already has been KO'd in 1 isn't attractive for the casuals I bet.Comment

But why should DAZN care? They want subs. Be it GGG or Fielding, their whole purpose of signing Canelo was to get subs. Get them signed up for this fight and bring on more for his fight in MayComment

If they don't know he's fighting then they aren't fans of his.
And as far as the marketing, I don't ever recall seeing Canelo commercials on during football when he was with HBO or Showtime.
I saw the Buffer commercial with him and the PBC Charlo commercial like 10 times Sunday during the games.Comment

I didn't say that they should care, If they don't care then it's fine. I'm just guessing why OP's Mexican friends didn't invite him for a Canelo fight this time; because he is fighting an unknown opponent.Comment

Canelo vs KautondokwaBut wouldn't they want subs & people to get acclimated to the app before May.
And what if GGG signs with ESPN, who are they going to fight in May that's considered a big fight? Canelo himself said there has been no talks of fighting GGG. GGG is making his decision next week.Comment
