I'm willing to go another 12 rounds if everyone else is up for it?

Of the 15 fights against championship level fighters, two can be debated as gifts (Trout & Lara) by most boxing fans.

Won against Miguel Vazquez (twice), Carlos Manuel Baldomir, Lovemore N'dou, Kermit Cintron, Shane Mosley, Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara, Miguel Angel Cotto, Amir Khan, Liam Smith, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. & Gennady Golovkin.

Only three of those fighters are guaranteed to be headed to the Hall of Fame.

Facts are facts, FOTY awards go to fighters who win career defining fights against other elite fighters.

I won't hold my breath for an intelligent rebuttal.
Usyk is allegedly the favorite for FOTY in 2018. Gassiev is the only opponent with a remote chance at the HOF. Haye at HW is not a ticket to the HOF. Usyk may very well have 0 opponents to the HOF (at least in 2018).

Lomachenko could be another option although 2 wins with only 1 potential HOF opponent is unlikely.

Canelos resume is deeper than any other current fighters resume (aside from Pacquiao). He literally has the BEST resume in boxing - the B E S T.

I dont care how many media awards hes won or lost...at 28 years old his resume is stronger than any fighter in recent memory

As he has always done in his career...Ca$hnelo will continue fighting the best opponents.

Canelo is simply on ANOTHER level.

Making you CUCKKKs look ****** is too easy.

The sheer arrogance and almost mocking condescension from ODLH is startling. To speak about GGG as if he were a whore who he could just call up and give directions and instructions to is firstly disrespectful, and secondly is not one degree moved from how they played cat and mouse with him from the beginning.

I'm sure GGG would get a nice paycheck but is it worth giving up his dignity, integrity, freedom of choice, right to demand his own terms? The way GBP lured, baited, rainchecked, delayed the first two fights was mind games 101 and also winding the clock down as time was on Canelo's side.

I would rather see GGG dictating his own career path with plenty of fighters at 160, and if I were him I would only fight Canelo in Europe or Kazakhstan.
Boot Abel Sanchez out of there and get in a new trainer who's going to train Golovkin in a way that reminds him of his best abilities, and certainly remind him that body punching is allowed in boxing.
Lastly, don't fight the promoter's poster boy in his own house.

He's clearly fighting the best with Rocky Fielding up next.

Cecilia Braekhus has a better resume than Canelo at this point.

So what about Jermall Charlo his mandatory challenger? Are they going to duck him forever?

He did fight the best. Especially when they are past their prime. I'm sure he could even fight Mike Tyson now.
