Of course we are never going to agree on this despite me not being hearn.
Personally, I believe hearn being generous to team wilder, he should offer them 30/35 max.
Any demand above that, they can forge the separate path, I don't bloody care.
That's from your point alone. The British fans, public and casuals are 100% into this fight cos there is scores to settle btw them once and for all.
Ortiz should improve his market value other wise he will find it difficult to land any top 10 fighter except wilder his pay master.
He should do himself a favor to be at whyte /chisora ringside to show the UK fans how serious he is. Anything shot of that, hez just joking and playing with the media.
As I said it's a domestic fight that does nothing for Whyte in the rankings. Now you talk of Ortiz proving how serious he is. Wasn't agreeing to fight in the UK this month serious. It's a never ending cycle with you. A UK fighter refuses to fight a guy who is a real threat, then you rail about how that guy doesn't deserve to fight said UK fighter or doesn't bring enough money. Then when someone says well this guy here is better than your UK fighter, first comeback is who has he beat. You can't have it both ways.
I will observe closely to see how serious Ortiz is to fight whyte. He should be ring side. Anything other than that, I can't take him serious.
I will see him as a guy who wants to use the cheap talk media propaganda to get a title shot which is not gonna work.
#fact.
You know what one thing I don't get is why people want him to fight AJ in April Ortiz will be 40 ffs and they already discredit Klitschko win (one of the most proven Champions) for being 41 when AJ fought him.

One interesting thing about boxing is fans must complain. You can't satisfy all the fans, that's why the boxing business keep recycling. We need these kind of fans to keep the sport interesting.
Some fans will still complain even when you beat an 18/22/25/30yr old guy, they will still discredit it. So pay them no attention.
Read before responding. We're talking about moving forward, rather than just bickering about the past. Do you have an opinion on Lali statement "a champ doesn't go to a challenger"?
It's not black and white on whether the champ gets to stay at home or travel. It depends on the circumstances.
Actually, he said he'd fight Ortiz in late December in the UK after Ortiz asked him to fight him on the Wilder undercard as a co-feature. Ortiz accepted. Hearn nor Whyte mentioned Ortiz name again.
This all after Whyte turned down an eliminator fight with Ortiz for the mando position.
That's only if the Chisora fight couldn't be made which was already deep in negotiations. Chisora accepted so Whyte is fighting him in a bigger fight for the British fans.
I preferred the Ortiz fight, but many casuals dictate what sells and what doesn't.

wait, so..... IF Ortiz really is serious about fighting Whyte, then he should be ringside..... ?
..... what, sitting next to Joshua..... ??
so, using YOUR methodology..... Joshua was NOT serious about fighting the Wilder/Fury winner, because he did not bother to appear ringside at their fight.....
and, using YOUR methodology again..... Joshua has been bullshlting his fans, because he has made plans to appear ringside at Whyte/Chisora..... ?
right..... ?
I'm not sure that your " must appear at ringside " argument is doing AJ any favors
