What a shame that Boxing let this happen. The sport is not gonna be the same again, and it will never reach the certain amount of class that HBO brought to it.

You'll never see the production values HBO brought to boxing. The closest is Showtime and good luck finding something polished as HBO on DAZN - the welfare channel.

HBO had the best production. The best sound-bites, the iconic voices, legendary moments. I like what Showtime is doing in Boxing but the personnel at HBO are clearly superior outside of Paulie Malignaggi. Lampley, Kellerman, Paulie would be awesome.

The last great year they had was 2013. It had been downhill ever since. 24/7 was AMAZING. The Mayweather/DLH and Hatton ones and the Cotto v Margarito ones were the best imo.

Jim lampley is just a color commentator. He isnt somebody who is objective and i never took him seriously. He is for entertainment and he was great at it.

Al Bernstein is a league above.

Hell no Lampley needs to stay away from DAZN. I like Brian Kenny. I really like Roy Jones everyone should be beating down doors to get him. I could care less about Max. But Lampley lost his fast ball long time ago and is way to bias. He is one of the reasons HBO fell apart and became agenda based.

It's more likely than not that Roy would end up on the PBC. He was forced to toe the company line in order to keep his job at HBO. Al Haymon is fully aware and understands this.

Agreed Lampley isn't even hired to be the color guy he is the play by play he is supposed to be objective and just describe the action and set up the color analyst guys to give insight and opinion. Bernstein isn't play by play he's color analyst and he's way more objective then the play by play guy on the other network who is steering an agenda bias.
