I hope DAZN or someone picks up Lampley and the crew, Showtime is just so budget in comparrison, Jim Grey, Jimmy lennon jr, just not up to the standard of the HBO crew

That was an elegant finish to a brutal sport. I will miss hearing the "story of the fight" from Lampley and crew. HBO set the standard in big time boxing for many years and moving forward, will be what others strive to achieve. The production, everything about it will be missed greatly here. Thanks for the opportunity to watch fighters reach for greatness. It will be missed.

The voice of boxing through the Tyson, RJJ, Prince, Barrera, Lewis, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Kovalev....spanning decades, what an amazing career.

Roy Jones was emotional at the end too. Sad day for the sport that we've lost one of the main distributors of boxing. What a storied history. Thank goodness we can watch old cards on YouTube.

That's sad. Jim Lampley loves boxing probably more than any other commentator. Somebody really should pick him up because he's really good for the sport.

His tears are obviously well orchestrated and contrived. The phony fake mutha!
