Liston has a punches chance, just like Wilder. A lot of the comments in this thread were from before the Wilder 2 fight, if that vote was held again you’d get a vastly different outcome.

To hell with this giant stuff. Fury is tall and fat. At 250 he has rolls of blubber hanging off of him. If Fury was lean and hard like Wilder or Liston he would weigh no more than 225. Wilder said he weighed 209 and he hit hard enough to damn near knock Fury out but was a terrible boxer. Liston weighed 214 and was a good boxer who had Wilder's power in both hands. Anybody who picks Fury is ignorant of the past and just how good the prime Liston really was.

I’d say that some guys here needs to take a chill-pill. Fury has beat an ancient Wlad and a long-time alphabet champ who himself hadn’t beaten anyone who had beaten a top 20 ranked fighter. Wilder looked inept and proved to be just that. Inept with a punch.

Fury is big and strong and fast and would be a problem for many because of his size. His chin is poor though. Remember that when making these fantasy fights with atg punchers and boxers.

Liston's jab is great, as is Wlad Klitschko's. Fury's shown he can nullify a great jab. Albeit Liston would throw it more.

Fury beats him easy. Mentally and physically, liston would get owned.

I read through some of this thread. It seems alot of them hanged their argument on Fury not being physically strong. That he couldn’t fight in close and bully people with his physicality. Well thats been proven wrong.

I'd put money down most of them couldn't pick out Fury in a line up with African Pygmies.

Cleveland "Glass Chin" Williams backed Liston up and kept him on the ropes.
