    2:21 Fury hits the canvas
    2:15 Fury is getting up
2:12 Fury is up as the ref is counting 9

    9 seconds fool

Fury hits the deck at 2.21, but the count should start one second after that, at 2.20.

If you start the count with "one" as soon as a fighter goes down, and continue to "ten" that's only nine seconds elapsed time. So Fury was on his feet by the time Reiss said, "nine"

Fury starts getting up at the count of "6" - but he's 6' 9" and 260lbs ... and it's the 12th round. He obviously isn't going to jump up to his feet in an instant, like a fresh bantamweight, so Reiss gives him the time he needs. And as long as he doesn't need more than 10 seconds, that shouldn't be an issue.
I’m a wilder fan I also like fury but man people are exaggerating this way too much.

I say let’s just wait for the rematch

Reiss, IMO, did the sport a huge favor the way he conducted himself in the 12th round. It's a shame too many people are so caught up in BS to realize this.
Something I forgot to mention earlier .. Fury's dad used to be his trainer at the start of his career, and Big John admitted that if he'd been the head cornerman last weekend he would probably have thrown the towel in without waiting for a count after his son went down in the 12th.

wow. I can completely understand that given how it looked. Yet another example of why fathers need not be in the corners on fight night.

You would think, but unfortunately, they seem to be composed of a certain subset of people that are able to disregard rules when they don't support their version of what they wanted to happen.

So basically what the video proves is that Reis wasn't biased, and if anything, did Wilder a favor by not stopping the count to order him back to the neutral corner.

It's mute and academic. If you are a smart boxer which Fury is, if the ref is giving you the count. You'll stay rested until the 8 second Mark before you stand up. If the Ref said it earlier, Fury will most likely stand earlier which will still be hovering around the 8th count. So whether it was early or later count, as you can see, Fury rebooted fast. His cognitive functions were intact, since all the while Fury was looking to the ref as he was counted. Whether it was fast or late count Fury will stand on the 8th count. It's smart to rest after a knock out.

                  Check it out for yourself.

Oh I’m aware, I follow Wilder on Instagram, and he did retweet (or whatever it’s called on Instagram) a video with a clock. What I said was also directed towards them. People don’t undwrstand that it’s a ten count and not official ten seconds. If it was ten seconds then they would actually time it like every other sport that’s timed lol
