Wilder was always a big long athletic guy learning how to box. He had a lot of power but his team was hesitant, imo, to put him in with any great boxer since there was a very real possibility of him getting outboxed thoroughly and then stopped. I think by the time the Ortiz fight came around, Wilder and his team felt Wilder was ready, and it was time for them to take on bigger exposure fights/more risk. And true to form Wilder hung in there just well enough against Ortiz to land a few big right hands, and basically did the same against Fury.

Wilder's team has been ready for about 2 years now to take on the biggest money fight they can get, whoever the opposition was. They felt he was as ready as he was ever gonna be, and he has proven to be more or less ready. And if the money was right, they would have probably fought someone like AJ for 10 million at any point in the last 5 years.

I shouldn't have to explain all this to you, you ****** miscreant!!
AJ is, and has been for the past few years, the golden ticket in the heavyweight division!! A guy is carefully managed for one reason!! - So he can avoid getting exposed until he gets a big fight/big money. Since AJ is the golden ticket, Wilder and his team would have taken that risk at any point, that is the whole reason to protect him, so he can get paid, you dumb piece of ****.

AJ could fight anyone he wants in the division...that fight not getting made is obviously on him. I didn't really care at first since Wilder hadn't done much to deserve it. But I hope he gets the AJ fight and if he does I fully expect him to knock AJ out.
Wilder would have taken 10 Mill any time in the last 5 years to fight Joshua? Even though he turned down 15 Mill last time out?

Yeah, you're a ******, just like I knew you were. Bro.

And for the record, Joshua only turned pro 5 years ago. Dip****.

If it's not my dude Sid-Knee. I knew that you would eventually show up. So how did you enjoy the fight Saturday night between Wilder and Fury? In addition, what do you think about Wilder's drawing power now? He is projected to do over 400,000 buys in his first pay per view ever. Not only that he is likely to double that amount when he challenges Fury to a rematch in Vegas this Spring. So don't you think he deserves at least 50/50 purse split from AJ now?

There are a lot of ways to turn down a fight. Joshua has never had any intention of fighting him, but you know that you ****sucker. Wilder, as maligned as he is, is a high risk fight for anyone.

Who gives a **** when he turned pro? You are such a dumb mother****er.

I said Wilder has been ready for 5 years to fight anyone who would have given him a real pay day, imo. Joshua has been that payday for at least the past 2 years. You dumb snivelling piece of ****. You have clear problems with reading comprehension/analysis, yet continue to call people much smarter than you, dumb.

**** off you dumb piece of ****.

Fck outta here like how he sent papers as soon as Fury vs Wilder was signed.....or how he said AJ wasn't ready...Hearn a fcking con man.

          • I hope they both retire after the rematch. Then Joshua would have to fight Hughie Fury and David Price and make 10% the money.

The fight was enjoyable. Not many shots were thrown by Fury, but he landed enough to land the win. Wilder was the opposite. He threw a lot, but landed pretty much nothing at all apart from the KD's and a couple more shots over the 12 rounds. I don't normally enjoy fights that have such a low punch connect, but with the power of Wilder being an ever threat and Fury slipping them all night like they were going out of fashion, the knowledge that anything could happen at any moment meant I was glued to it from start to finish. So yeah, I was happy. I though with Fury being out for so long it was a guaranteed win for Wilder, but Fury surprised me and showed me he still has what it takes.

it was 300,000, but I want to see those numbers confirmed first.

Wilder still can't get 50/50 with Joshua because this was all about both he AND Fury. Without a dancing partner, Wilder's true worth reveals itself. We need to keep that in mind. Outside of Fury, Joshua and Whyte, Wilder goes back to fighting for 2 Mill. He deserves a %, but it won't be 50% that's for sure.

Eddie is over there now so we'll see what is what in a week or so. With Wilder's stock dropping after getting a gift against Fury, Finkle may want to jump on that huge Joshua money now before it all goes up in smoke. He has greater clarity now so it's all good. Losing to Fury again for much less wouldn't be smart on their part.

How could he have fought AJ when AJ only turned pro 5 years ago? Was AJ going to fight Wilder on his debut and give Wilder 10 Mill or something? Use your head.

Which fighter was going to be able to pay Wilder 10 Mill over the last 5 years? Are you really this ******?

He sent papers for a fight with Wilder in April had he come through his fight with Fury. Had he lost it would have made it void. But you at least get all the details worked out instead of rushing things for a fight in April by negotiating now. Who knows how long it will take to get a deal done after what's happened in the past. Then they've got all the promotion to do. It's a squeeze.

When did Hearn say AJ wasn't ready? They've been trying to get Wilder in the ring for some time now. It's Wilder who's pricing himself out of it and making things difficult. But you make this bull**** up like it has any value? You're the one who needs to get the **** out of here.
