I've never even really been a fan of Wilder. I thought he was carefully managed the first part of his career, and with him KOing average, low ranked heavies while he and his team simultaneously pound their chest that they are the best in the world, I mean I didn't like that. If you are going to bring a guy up carefully, which is 100% fair game in fight sports, I would rather not hear the story about how they are the baddest man on the planet. If that's the case they need to get in there with another top guy and prove it.
And I think Wilder has done that in his last two fights. He has shown good things in those 2 fights, and he has gotten too much **** for it. Him KOing Ortiz proved he was legit, yet whenever someone steps up and gets a win like that, people who don't like the guy just say the guy he beat sucks now. I hate that. It's never a good win, it's always that other guy sucks.
I understand rooting for guys that you like, but at the end of the day you have to be objective and give credit where it is due. I am not a huge Wilder fan by any means, but I certainly know who I will be rooting for if he fights Joshua.Comment

I said AJ has been that guy for the past few (2-3) years. Before that if there was a big money fight, Wilder would have taken it. Although to be honest, he and anyone else would probably have taken a big money fight at any point in their careers, that's what it is all about. Wilder is one of if not the most delusional HW champion in history and why he has the worst fan base in history because that comes with it.Wow, Wilder is pretty pathetic here.
