He's always been one of the better ones IMO. I think he should get bigger fights more often.

It is not often you see someone go down so hard, and get up quickly with steady legs.
exactly the reason most probably wouldn't have been ok with it getting waived off. he was standing directly over fury and obviously saw something we didn't. not only did fury get up, but his legs were under him and he finished the round stronger than wilder. it's possible the kd looked worse than it actually was.

        Fury Beats the Count

he absolutely beat the count...and it's gotta be a rarity that a ref starts and times his count so impeccably. he literally picked up the count at exactly the time fury hit the canvass and was perfectly in sync with the timer.

I think Reiss did an excellent job in this fight.

His reffing though in Ward v Kessler was atrocious and inexcusable. As said above 1 or 2 headbutts maybe. But 5-6 and some clearly intentional, and other fouls. In general I like Ward, but he was dirty as hell that night because Reiss likely intentionally allowed it.

Whether he's good or bad depends on the agenda. I've never had a problem with him. He's the same ref he's always been.

Now everyone hates Jack Reiss again. It's honestly a microcosm of this cesspool. You do something well once, you're automatically the greatest. You make a mistake and you're the worst of all time. There's no in-between here. Just a collection of bipolar motherf**ckers.

Reiss has good days and bad days. I wouldn't say he is a bad ref but he is not the most consistent.
