Say what you like about his boxing skills , nobody else has managed to deck Tyson Fury twice on the same night
He must be doing something right

Wilder does what he does, we all saw him train and he does clown stuff in the ring. Wilder is based on speed and timing so skill isn't a priority , he's just not skilled. A trainer can't overhaul a fighter like that. Wilder can't fight bums anymore , were basically just seeing how good he is and barely getting by his last two fights shows there's a lot of unanswered questions .

What is Wilder going to say to a new trainer, I don't need skills ? He's made that clear, I think that's why his team is care free and don't bother getting much into proper training.

Wilder doesn't necessarily need a new trainer, but he definitely needs to add additional voices to his corner.

I think a Don Turner and Brother Naazim on a part time basis would be a huge benefit to Wilder. The sort of grizzled vets with experience working with world champions and whom he and his corner men respect. They could also help 'train the trainer'.

If he did replace his corner, I'd like to see him go one of the Kronk disciples, Sugar Hill or Johnathan Banks. Guys baptized in Steward's 'fight tall' HW teachings and know how to coach one punch KO (Adonis Stevenson, Klitschko, etc.) fighters.

All i can think about it Marcos Maidana when he got with Robert Garcia!

I think he could benefit from adding tools to set up his power punches.

I was thinking about E. Steward

              i don't agree with this.

wladimir benefitted from being extremely smart, but he was able to change from an aggressive puncher who threw combinations and fell in to a dude who fought 100% at range or held when he got into trouble. got him on the top 15 of all time HW list.

while i don't think wilder will come close to what klitscko did because of his background and experience [wladimir boxed very young, was a pedigree amateur, and wilder had only 20 fights before he qualified for the olympics,] i do think he can make huge improcements.

i mean really, his flaws arent' that tough to fix. the priblem ist hat he doesn't feel he needs to fix them. for whatever reason he's confident in his power. comes from dudes telling him he's the greatest, comes from dude's getting hit and going down liek they are dead, comes from a lot of things. but a fight like this, 100% will humble him a bit.

maybe, just maybe, this is the time to bring in somebody new. otherwise he's 100% hit his peak and he will NEVER beat tyson fury. ever. who he could have beaten on saturday if he had just put 5-10 quick shots down the middle without full power and forced jack rees to stop the fight.

Exactly, the issues between the ears. The Klitschko brothers ability to listen, learn and take constructive criticism is on another level.

Fury is just a way better boxer than Wilder. In the second fight or rematch we'll have the 10 point must system next to Fury's name and a check box next to Wilder. Check the box if Wilder gets the knockout. He's not going to outpoint him
